This is a great little shield for engineering paladins, shaman and warriors. Cool for RP purposes if it fits your character's backstory.

If you grab the book ( Manuale Obsoleto ) instead for a off-hand book prop, there are other quests rewards with the same model: https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=59548#same-model-as

I just love the fact that the shield of the stockades (a level 30 item) has the emblem but not the looks. But yet a low level shield like this does. Figures. In my opinion there should be an exact emblem for each and every item. but nooooooo..! -_-

This was absolutely and without a doubt my favorite looking shield in the game.
I was running through transmog options when I found this and remembered how much I liked it, so I went back and did the quest line to grab it.

Unfortunately the model has changed to a new size at about 1/4 to 1/2 the original size, and it's just not the same. :(

You can see in the older screenshots how huge and amazing it looks, but the new look makes it just bigger than your hand.

Gimme back my Big Scrap Metal Shield!
