This seems dramatically underwhelming compared to the Petrified Twilight Scale. A slight boost in the proc's avoidance but only half the static armor? I'd much rather have the level 271 item than the level 359 item, which seems backwards...

This should prove to be especially powerful for Blood Death Knights. Death Strike after the attack that procs this for a massive heal and a greater than normal Blood Shield. Seems DKs are going to have a love/hate relationship with so many different worms.

In case you guys were wondering. This trinket drops from an even bigger worm named 'Magmaw'. One of the first bosses in Blackwing Descent raid instance.

I just happened to have this drop from Magmaw last night. Luckily, I rolled a 25, and beat our other tank by double!... Anyways, this trinket is amazing. As said previously, for a Death Knight this is especially good, since it procs at nearly the same time as Will of the Necropolis. Not to mention our mastery gives us a separate shield with its own duration, meaning we can literally have the mastery effecting us up to 10 seconds after we actually lose it (Blood Shield duration / Sym. Worm duration).

This is especially potent on a Death Knight, when combined with Leaden Despair. When you fall below 30% health (35% for the others, but in raids it'll be close enough), you'll gain 3400 Armor, an insane 20 sec if timed properly shield, and 25% reduced damage for 8 seconds (the others last 10). They are also all on similar cooldowns since Leaden is at 30, Symbiotic worm is at 30, and Necropolis is at 45.

Something especially good to note, is that for the actual worm to proc. on a Death Knight, they have to be low health. To be at low health, they had to have taken large hits. This means they're going to create an insanely large blood shield when combined with their mastery.

This is a great trinket for all classes, but I believe it's best for Death Knights.

Really nice for chimaeron fight since the buff will almost always be up.

Just make sure your worm is allied with the Tokra or you may end up with an army of people in really big helmets
