Seriously . . . another tank piece that gives DKs and Druids the shaft? How about we start offering quest / emblem rewards that are either class neutral or include an option for other classes. I'm assuming the base ring will probably be ilvl 251 and top off at either 264 or 277, regardless its going to be a really nice piece. I hope they don't stick it to us with block rating.

How exactly does this give druids and DK's the shaft? The only way this ring would be such as that is if they had it give block. However this gives a nice dodge, defense, and hit amount with an added bonus of a decent amount of stam.

I did a quick comparison of the rings from HToC 10-25man with Ony and put this ring in for a total glance at. You can see this ring is quite nice pretty much all around. It's a little low in strength, but the hit is nice if you're running low for any particular reason. It also gives the highest stam of the selected group here. The only one that beats it out in defense is the Ony ring, which should enable you to free up some defense gems and enchants if you haven't already.

The thing that makes this even better is the fact that this is only the level one version of this thing, it only gets better from here.

All rings have a yellow socket at exalted. At revered you get a chance on hit to increase armor by 2400 for 10 seconds. It's the exact same proc from the Band of the Eternal Defender (+800 armor/10 sec). At exalted it's 68 str, 130 stam, yellow socket, 59 def, 59 dodge, 55 hit. Easily makes it the best ring all around.

Progression path goes from 251, 259, 268, 277 in terms of ilvl, so at exalted it's going to have the same ilvl as heroic 25 rings. Pretty nifty.

I currently have Clutch of Fortification and Abomination's Bloody Ring. I just got Friendly with the Ashen Verdict and now have to decide if I want to replace Clutch of Fortification with Ashen Band of Courage. I'm really attached to Clutch because of the 560 armor and the fact that I spent 35 frost badges on it. I'd be basically swapping armor for hit. Do you have any suggestion?

I'm thinking of holding onto the Ashen ring until I go up one or two levels of reputation, and then swapping it in.

Can any other chanters out there not chant this? Keeps coming up item lvl is too low. Im trying to get +4stats on it, and it wont let me. It took 5 days for Blizz to get back to me, and say ...nothing much.
