Current model looks the same as the grieving spellblade along with similar quality stats (since they're both ilvl 200 weapons). Hopefully they'll try and make it even a LITTLE more interesting like a different colored glow but I'm getting the feeling they may take the lazy approach of keep the graphics the same and call it "Argent Spellblade".

Depending on how hard it'll be to earn the tokens from dailies/events needed for this it may well become the new caster base 1H rather than the Kirin Tor one that it's pretty much a direct upgrade of.

Great mage replacement to your Flameheart Spell Scalpel (Kirin Tor - Revered). It has only 5 less hit rating and 3 less crit rating, but you get a handy 10 intellect and a more than handy 53 spell power from this blade. Plus, this blade is not quite hard to get (just a few dailies once you finish the quests for the Tournament). Chances are if you've been running 10 and 25 mans you have a better weapon by now, but if you haven't graduated to harder raids yet this is a great way to get things kicked off.

This is a very nice and cool-looking weapon! Pre-raiding this is way better than War Mace of Unrequitted Love if you're a shadow priest.

jeez! Blizz made a huge efford creating unique models for the champ seal weapons..... but their creativity lost its eye for beauty when they made the ulduar weapons :(

Can anyone describe how the glow effect from Enchant Weapon - Exceptional Spellpower mixes with the swords natural lighting?

Can you see the blue pulses from the sword after the big white glow of the enchant has been added?

Ok, I went ahead and put the enchant on, only 120g at the AH.

I still see the constant blue pulse from the sword through the white misty glow of the enchant. :)

It looks outstanding!

Post 3.2 pre-raid Holy Paladin weapon comparison.

There are four pre-raid epic weapons for healing paladins.

The first is Titansteel Guardian. Alas, the largest benefit of the TSG is that it is incredibly easy to obtain - it only requires gold. It lacks what is widely recognised as the strongest single stat for holy paladins: int. Following the Illumination nerf (only 30% of the mana cost of a spell restored on a crit instead of 60%), the crit on this mace isn't bad, but perhaps not as useful as some other stats could be.

The second is/are the Champion's Seal bought sword(s) Blade of the Kening Banshee and Gnomeregan Bonechopper. These take all the stats of the Titansteel Guardian, lower them, and in exchange gain intellect (plus hit, but that is mostly useless, so it doesn't really count). Having more mana is almost greatly appreciated by a holy paladin. They are fairly easy to acquire as well, only requiring a few days of specific quests.

Third is War Mace of Unrequited Love. Due to the illumination nerfs, and the 25% buff to mp5, this mace is now very strong for holy paladins. The loss of stamina is not bad, and the very healthy int on this mace is wonderful. However, as a heroic instance drop, it is harder to acquire than either of the Champion's Seal swords, or the TSG.

The fourth pre-raid epic healing weapon blows them all away. Mariel's Sorrow drops in heroic Trial of the Champion, and is about a 10% drop from Eadric's cache, thus probably only a 5% drop per run since Eadric only shows up half the time. Good luck. Granted, if you are successfully healing h-ToC, you probably already have one of the above weapons, but it is technically a pre-raid holy paladin weapon. In short, it combines all the best stats from the other pre-raid epics. Haste would be nice, but haste is basically a stat you gear for on a holy paladin once you have all your other stats in line.
