Best blue quality dps shoulders so far, and the Sons of Hodir is a mandatory rep grind. So two thumbs up!

If a Ret Paladin is set on hit rating, these shoulders are the best DPS for them outside of nax. Truly a great set of shoulders from a rep that you NEED to have anyway.

And as you can see from the screenshots, they use the same model as most other shoulder pads in Northrend. Yay! Go get and look like any other plate wearer in the game Hooray!

No there's only 22 items that share this model, look under "items that share this model". That doesn't filter out greens "just because". This can be verified by looking at any number of other items whose models are indeed shared between green, blue, and even epic items.

This particular model along with one or two others is reserved for plate blues in WotLK pre-raid. The greens have their own models (albeit there aren't many of those either). I would invite you to point out the greens that share it, and I'll gracefully and gratefully stand corrected.

Just add Lesser Inscription of the Axe or Greater Inscription of the Axe and this makes for a very good dps piece

If you are a warrior or Deathknight and are specced for armored to the teeth or bladed armor respectively, these are the best pre-raiding shoulders you can find. If you're not, i would go with Trollwoven Spaulders. Edited 'cause i'm a noob and don't know how to link

Excellent set of shoulders...better than anything available from heroics, and not that far behind T7 (especially considering how bad ArP has been gimped)

These are just a tiny bit better than the BoA plate shoulders. Not an enormous upgrade, but if you're considering not grinding Sons rep on your alt because of 3.3's change to shoulder enchants, you might want to at least get to revered for this upgrade once you hit 80.
