Sorry to burst anyone’s bubble but think about it in this way. If Rune strike costs 20 runic power than 5 additional runic power is a 25% increase to cost. If you are only increasing your total damage by 10% than you are doing 110% damage for 125% of the cost. If you take this glyph, you will burn 25% more runic power for 10% crit. This makes this spell 15% less efficient.

I would suggest avoiding this unless you are not spending your runic power as fast as you are regenerating it. Which probably means you are doing something wrong.

I'm not aggree with u Evil for just 1 reason... u might be right, but ur wrong on 1 thing... the glyph doesn't increases the damage from 100% to 110%, but it actually increases the chance to crit with Rune Strike by 10%! This mean the glyph worst all the runic power it costs, 'cos a +10% to do double damage is a really nice improvement!

This glyph does indeed lower the damage/runic power efficiency of Rune Strike.

It would only be a 10% increase in average damage if you started with 0% crit. Given a crit rate of 20%, going from 120% average damage to 130% average damage would be 130% / 120% = 108.3%, or a relative improvement of 8.3% average damage. The higher your base crit rate, the lower this relative improvement will be.

For a 25% increase in cost, that does not seem to be a good deal, unless you for some reason you cannot otherwise spend your runic power fast enough.

I applied this glyph and have been grinding and questing for about 12 levels now. I really don't think this feels like an extra 10% chance to crit on Rune Strike. Feels more like 3%. Isn't this suppose to be an extra 10% added onto your crit chance now? If so, it should be like 35% chance to crit for me and I just don't see it;

Rune Strike is one of the Blood Dk's major attacks to be using for Threat, and because Blood DK's almost have an unlimited supply of Runic Power, using Rune Strike not only ensures in holding down, and its damage is fairly high, my Rune Strike almost hits as hard as my Scourge Strike on a crit, picking up this glyph will improve the Rune Strikes power greatly, if your not using Rune Strike as part of your Blood tanking, there might be something wrong with you.

However this glyph may be a nice increase on RS damage (and threat generated), until I start tanking raids, I'll keep Glyph of Death and Decay, since I'm frequently dealing with groups of 3 or more mobs on heroics.
As pointed on this guide, once you start raiding, you should go for DC, RS and HS, but, for heroics, I'm going for HC, DnD and DC.
I prefer DC rather than RS because I can heal myself while under the effect of Lichborne, increasing survivability, what makes DC more useful on pugs (via dungeon finder) than RS (I mean, the glyphs).
