I can see this being very useful in pvp, especially if you pick up the Unholy talent that reduces the cooldown.

I would like to note that you CANNOT stack several glyphs of the same type to increase the effect. Upon attempting to inscribe a duplicate Glyph at the Lexicon of Power you recieve the message:

"That Glyph is already inscribed in your spellbook."

This is a completely worthless glyph. It is negative in every aspect.

The only difference this glyph gives from normal is that players cannot use an instant ranged attack on you while being dragged towards you.

If they are casting a spell, they will still be interrupted.

Now, if I'm wrong about this, and it doesn't stun you in midair, but after you land, then this might not be quite as bad, but I wouldn't count on it. Even then, this is a pretty terrible glyph.

And on top of all of this, it increases the cooldown by 10 seconds, which is HUGE for a measly 1 second stun.

I just can't see any reason why anyone would bother with this glyph.

In addition to making sure people won't use instants on you while being pulled it also guarantees that your first hit will land (more or less since you can't parry/dodge while stunned)

It's still not something I'd use though.

Another way this can be used is to just stun a target for 1 second while they're already in melee range. Of course, that is all moot, really, since there are much better glyphs available.

I see this glyph as an addition of spell interupt at melee range, which might be useful from time to time, but the chance is really small.
If you don't understand what i mean, here it goes: Death Grip only interupts spell casting if you actually pull the enemy toward you, it has no effect to those whose at melee range, as you are not actually 'pulling' them. The glyph however, changes it by stunning them for 1 second, while you can argue that one can always jump one step away then cast Death Grip, trust me, you simply don't have the time to interupt, especially those 1.5secs heals such as Flash of Light/Lesser Heal Wave, the fact that spell haste gear is all around nowaday and generic lag makes it even worse.
However, just as the majority of comments here say, the chance of seeing this useful in action is small, i will definitely not replace other more useful glyphs with it.

buffed in next patch :D it'll reset DG's cooldown whenever you kill something that yields honor or experience, useful grinding glyph, but still not something I'm gonna use

It will stun them when they hit the ground next to you as opposed to in the air
Glyph is teh awesome, gives just enough time to throw another chains of ice on them

I was tanking H VH today, killed a mob and it would not reset the CD for DG. World mobs will reset the CD but it didn't reset when I was in an instance - I'm lvl 80 killing lvl 80 mobs

Can someone verify if this works on world mobs only? If so, this is no tanking glyph.

It does refresh cooldown when you kill guards (noticed while doing grizzly dailies).

Does anyone know if this glyph will continue to proc in pve even after you've reached level 80 and no longer gain experience for kills?
