This, along with three other recipes, are "emotion" foods. The buffs last two hours, but do nothing.

They seem to be fairly common random world drops.

It appears that these behave as the BC BoP alchemy and enchantment recipes did; this dropped for my party in Utgarde Keep today, and I was the only one allowed to roll on it. I was also the only one with cooking above 350.

Not that I mind....

I've had my cooking maxed since I leveled from 70, and I've yet to see this drop. It's the last one I need for the achievement. :(

I think the drop rates may be incorrect, my cooking was at around 350 when i went to howling fjord at level 68 and I got every single one within 3 days all relatively close to the starting area doing the quests.

Do not trust the drop rates. If it drops or not is depending on your Cooking skill.

If you're at or near 350 Cooking, all or most of these WILL drop as you level 68-70, or 70-72 depending on when you head to Northrend.

These seem to be pretty rare, i was in Howling Fjord for quite awhile and only Tasty cupcake dropped for me. When i moved on to Dragonblight i got haunted herring.

That leaves me with 2 to get. and for some reason the drop table is focused on the 2 starting zones..

Hopefully it's like the heavy frostweave manual. the drop rate is high, but if you already have it it wont show up ever again. so maybe most people got it while in the starting zones, my guess at least.

This dropped for my guild on trash in Freya's room in 10 man Ulduar, I was the only one able to loot it. I'm 300 cooking, and I haven't picked up the training at 300 yet. So I guess 300 is the only thing needed to loot this.

The drop rate is random and from any mob, with the only requirement being that you must be a Master cook (at least 300 cooking). That means no certain location, no certain time, no certain anything. I even got two from two adjacent mobs in Icecrown.

same as "grewe02", I have done countless heroics and raids, I have completed every single quest in northrend, yet I have never even seen one of these emotion recipe's drop, let alone win one.

this recipe dropped for me as an artisan at 300 cooking skill (i hadnt gotten around to training master yet)
and very shortly after i gad gotten to skill 300

RECOMMENDED as this is very good advice. I tried this method and I got them within the hour if not sooner.

Level 70, cooking 358 (master). Just picked up the Last Week's Mammoth recipe from a Bone Warrior on the ramp up to Talramas on the way to Lich-Lord Chillwinter. Bone Warriors cook? lol.

This recipe also drops from the Vengeful Taunka Spirits in Borean Tundra. Spent about 10 minutes flying around killing them, in the area shown via the link, before it dropped.

I managed to pick up all 4 of the recipies from Tracker Gekgek and his two guards in Sholozar Basin. Only farmed for about 40 minutes but you have to be hated with the Frenzyheart Tribe. L85 character and 500+ cooking so its still possible.

Although many say that had a lot of luck getting this recipe as well as the other three from the Kvaldir Raiders at Kasala, I had no luck with them. I managed to get all four recipes from killing Converted Heros in western Icecrown while doing Argent Tournament dailies. So, if you're having no luck in Kasala, try farming Converted Heros. :D

I had a harder time farming this for some reason. It took about an hour of killing the Kvaldir Raiders in Borean Tundra as they came off the boat, but I can confirm that this is still current as of 4.3.

Got all four drop recipes from the Converted Hero within an hour. Do not be spooked by the fact that neither of the recipes are not listed in the drop table. Happy farming! :)

Ight folks, when i came here for some usefull info i only found top post tellin' obvious things, so for y'all who struggled and might thought its impossible to loot this recipe in cata for 85 lvl chars, i present you this npc (NPC #25227). It spawns constantly so you wont have to wait loads of time to farm these mobs, as for me i got all of 4 recipes during like 30 minutes. Good luck!
