One of the first WotLK polearms I've seen that's itemized for plate wearers instead of Hunters.

edit: okay, Arthas' loot revealed, this is officially the ONLY Strength polearm in the whole expansion :( After the change to let Hunters share Druid staves we should have seen no more than one Agility/AP polearm per tier!

edit again: Cataclysm did not add a single Strength polearm other than random greens. They are now truly an elegant weapon for a more civilized age :(

This is pretty nice for feral druids too
Lacks Agi, but the huge crit makes up for it dps wise.

This is a dps weapon, the lack of armour and more importantly any sort of dodge means its not going to be a great tanking weapon.

Edit: For the uninformed, Druids got polearms in 3.0.8

Come Patch 3.0.8 this Polearm is also worth 1601 Feral Attack Power before additional stats.

This is the perfect pre raid tank weapon for a DK.

The stats give:

21 Parry rating
1035 HP

All you need until 2 handers itemised with defence come out.

Agreed with the above comments. This weapon is the best non-craftable pre-raid item you'll be able to get hold of. Titansteel destroyer is superior for threat, but it doesn't have as much stamina as this, and threat shouldn't really be an issue anyway.

you should see my female belf twirl this thing around like it's a staff, I laugh constantly during fights as I use this thing. Would definitely recommend it, if even only for the hilarious staff animations you play when you fight with it.

as soon as i saw this thing dropping was asking if i could have it in major capital letters with /rw. since the very beggining of WoW (yes, even pre tbc) ive been a fan of polearms, but theyre allways itemized for hunt0rz >_<

now blizzard also needs to make Titan's Grip include polearms aswell

Sucks that Level 80 Polearms are almost exclusively itemized for Hunters (and maybe Feral DPS Druids). It'd be nice if Blizzard could make more of them for Plate-wearers instead of throwing a bunch of "swords", maces, and axes at us, if only for a little more variety.

Alas, this is the last known +str polearm I know of before Cataclysm. I pine for more, as the attack animations for using them are fantastic.. and the only classes that use polearms in Cata don't actually "use" them .
