The Cavedweller Worgs are great...low hp, high drop rate, comes in packs of two. You can farm worm meats in the cave too.

Come patch 3.0.8 these will be used for:

Cooking

Worg Tartare (3 x Dalaran Cooking Awards) - Restores 15000 health and 12960 mana over 30 sec. If you spend at least 10 seconds eating you will become well fed and gain 40 Hit Rating and 40 Stamina for 1 hour. This delicacy is best served raw and thus requires no cooking fire.

Excellent for anyone who isn't hit capped with their gear.

Chilled Meat + Worg Haunch combo spot

Outside of Conquest Hold in Grizzly Hills there are both worgs + tallhorn stags aplenty, stags drop the chilled meat and worgs drop the worg haunches. However the Worgs kill stags after a few bites so I suggest killing those first. You will get a solid mix of both meats farming this area.

I tried both the cavedwellers and the graymist hunters (outside conquest hold) and I found that the graymist were a better choice. I was not killing the stags, but I gained worg meat much faster due to being able to mount up between pulls and the lower levels. btw, theres a good spot with a few pulls of four right west of conquest.

Note that the Oil-stained worgs outside of the fizzcrank pumping station do not offer any worg meat, learned that the long way.

I collected them at the Graymist Hunter around conquest hold. there are 3 spawns in the west, one in the south and one in the east with each 4 Wolfs around a stone.
Of cause there more running around but i only killed the spawns.
Once around the hold: not even 5 minutes and 20 Worg Haunches

Is it just me or did the icon for this change? It used to look like a raw leg of lamb or something, and now looks like ... well I dont know what that is.

Best place I found to farm these was Gimorak's Den in Storm Peaks . In about 30 mins I had 40 Worg Haunches, 16 worm meat, and 18 chilled meat. If you go to the end of the cave there is a huge cavern that's full of worgs with a very fast respawn rate, and they respawn in packs of two. Gimorak is there as well (for a quest I presume) and his respawn rate is extremely fast, a minute or less, so I will stand there and farm him for haunches while I wait for the worgs in the cavern to respawn. Super easy farm.
