Is there some kind of other source that says Silken Thread goes for this much in the AH. Cause vendors sell it for like 4 silver each, it just doesn't make any sense to me that it's worth that many gold. Please explain how this is possible. Thank you.

It just goes off of what it has seen the price for on the AH. Some people put common items like this on the AH for insane prices and it throws it off even though they never actually sell for those prices.
