To parent poster, this is a Priest Inscription, not a pally one.

Fairly handy though, I'd think for pvp healing, if you had time to actually stop and cast. Mana always being an issue for pvp heals; though I'd probably take the Dispel Magic inscription instead if I had to pick a pvp inscription. It heals 6% health on your target every time you use it.

I would like to note that you CANNOT stack several glyphs of the same type to increase the effect. Upon attempting to inscribe a duplicate Glyph at the Lexicon of Power you recieve the message:

"That Glyph is already inscribed in your spellbook."

this glyph is not as awesome as some might think. 1,8% base mana (human) is 112 mana. that really isn't much when you have more than 20k mana on raids.

With this Glyph, Greater Heal will cost APPROXIMATELY double the amount of Flash Heal. Greater Heal will heals for almost the same as Flash Heal. This makes the Glyphed Flash Heal much more hpm and hps efficient than before.

This HAS ALREADY resulted in many priests using Flash Heal more than Greater Heal, and can ALMOST make two Flash Heals more efficient than a Greater Heal.

The only difference would be: Greater Heal heals for much more unbuffed and with Spell Power, and Flash Heal has a quicker heal and saves time and lives.

I would choose saving time and lives.

Flash Heal is only good for raid heals, not for tank heals. If a greater heal on the tank will overheal him, either he needs to get WAY more health, or you need to stop stressing every time a tank gets hit for 10% of his max health. Healers do not need to heal a tank every time the tank takes damage, they need to heal him any time his health gets low enough to cause risk.

If your job is tank heals, do not bother with this glyph. If your job is raid heals, this glyph will save you mana.

As a tank, I can tell you that I hate priests who use flash heal instead of greater heal on me. Just let me drop down to 30k to 40k health and then throw a greater heal on me. If I drop even farther down than that, still throw a greater heal on me, because I need to be healed back up. Tanks have big health pools for a reason - you're supposed to throw big heals on them.

Eh, not the most useful of glyphs I'd say. I doubt the 10% would make the difference between life and death. I would have hoped for a glyph that perhaps increased healing done by 20%, not just the crit chance by 10%.

The discussion for this Glyph may be confusing to Mists of Pandaria players and people browsing the MoP version of WoWhead as this Glyph is replacing Glyph of Flash Heal which increased the Crit chance of Flash Heal by 10% on players under 25% health which in turn was changed from reducing the cost of Flash Heal by 10%.

The Mists of Pandaria version of this glyph replaces the Cataclysm Priest Talent "Inner Sanctum" which was a 3-point talent. The Glyph mimics the effect of Inner Sanctum with all 3 points invested in it.
