This isn't a bad glyph, but because of the incredible restoration glyphs in WotLK, this will be a fairly unpopular one.

That said, other specs may use this one. You never know.

Im a resto druid and I use this Glyph only because if your in a 5 man group and say the tank goes down for some odd reason or any DPS you could use this and they would be close to full HP in a tight situation.

Thus saving you NS+HT for something more usefull...like healing yourself with all that aggro or saving a DPS, giving the tank some time to gather up threat.

Also in a Boss fight its always better to Brez someone with more HP due to the fact most Bosses tend to AOE.

As a feral druid i'm going to give a big thumbs up to this glyph.

As a feral tank, i had to choose between this glyph and Glyph of Shred.

I don't often dps as a tank, so the very rare bonus damage to stunned targets in groups was negligible. Bosses are immune to stuns, so that glyph doesn't even count when it matters.

In 5 mans, often when a party member dies on a boss, i'll find a way to rebirth them, this is often accomplished by rebirthing them while the boss is charging an AoE, or simply just firing a continuous AoE off. I've found that half the people i rebirth will thusly accept it immediately instead of waiting for a good time and get themselves kiled due to low life.
Since getting this glyph I've not had that trouble, as it gives them plenty of time to get to safety, or just eat that big AoE they should of avoided.

The few times i'm DPS, its also nice just to be able to throw a rebirth on a downed target and resume feral dps without having to wait for them to accept and throw them some additional healing, or worry that them dying due to low life.

Overall, its a glyph I'd recommend to any feral druid, simply because when we stop to rebirth someone, we just don't have the time to nurse them back into battle.
Its also nice to cast in pvp, death knights and shamans can have their puny little ghoul/elementals, I'll rebirth that freshly killed gladiator instead, lets see who's minion is the most !@#$ed off and dangerious :D

Patch 3.1 this glyph is changing to be rebirth = 100% of their health intact.

So if your 34,000 health tank goes down and you battle rez, that tank will come back with 34,000 health rather than the present 14kish health.

just a funny note, it does not accually make the rebirth spell heal you to "100%" it makes it heal for 99,999 more health than normal. But unless you have a freakishly large amount of health you will be at 100% health when you are rezzed with this glyph.

If you do have more then 99,999 health it does not really matter if you have 100% health, or at least that is how i view it.

No one has mentioned this, so I'll add it here - this glyph is pretty much required for all druids doing Steelbreaker Hardmode in Heroic Ulduar. The reason is that in phase 3 of the fight, Steelbreaker will kill a tank every 30 seconds. In order to have the DPS required to take him down, you'll need to go through 3 or 4 tank rotations of the same 2 or 3 tanks. The heavy raid damage at this encounter will kill any tank brought back via soulstone or unglyphed rebirth instantly, and so this glyph is mandatory.

Glyph of Soulstone is being reported as not having its listed effect apply to other targets, meaning that soulstones are practically worthless in this fight, even when glyphed. Others report Glyph of Soulstone as working fine, in which case you may have two options. It is unclear what the correct status of the glyph is.

what no here has yet to a realize, this is amazing for a druid at extremely low levels that wants to res their level 80 friend with 41K hp to full health at virtually no mana cost for say a level 28 druid =)

EXTREMELY useful in world pvp.
Extremely useful, in when being ran through an instance by someone with a great amount of hp more than you can heal up, for speed ressing someone that has died and needs to be up and aoeing asap, since "being res" generate threat on you(god I've pulled aggro on so many fights on my priest when I soulstone up) it shouldn't take much for them to regain threat on all the mobs they are killing.

My findings: Like many many druid glyphs, this is primarily a leveling glyph to ease certain methods of extremely high speed/dangerous leveling.

I also found this glyph somewhat useful for learning fights like Blood Queen where there is a damage aura that will pretty much kill them immediately when they rez (especially on heroic when that becomes available). Another fight I could see this being useful for would be heroic twin valks 25. Of course, people are *supposed* to die... but it happens. Since people are usually spread out on Blood Queen you could use this glyph in place of Wild Growth.

It's definitely not the best glyph, healing wise--when you choose this, you're giving up the option to give you more throughput on heals that is provided by Glyph of Rejuvination, for example.

However, it can be a raid saver. When your group is still learning the fights, and your kill of Blood Queen is still messy and not everyone makes it to the end, being able to rez a 70k hp tank to full health can be the difference between a wipe and a win. I keep a stack of 5 of these in my bags to swap out as needed with other glyphs.

This glyph is still very useful as far as major glyphs in PvE go. In 5-mans, bringing a non-caster class back to life with full health is a real boon, since they can get right back to slicing and dicing. I've actually used it a few times to bring a fallen tank back up immediately, but it's normally used on DPS that have forgotten the uncanny burning sensation of fire and/or explosions.

I have no theorycrafting to back this up, just common sense...

Every druid should have this for PVE. It's a major glyph, and we now have a 3 rez/fight limit. The raid utility from saving wasted rezes and healer mana far outweighs any small performance loss you may incur by "wasting" a major glyph slot.
