As a restoration shaman I honestly would prefer the emblem shield, the difference is very slight and both are great for healing Naxx (10 and 25 man). Anyways the shield dropped, I recieved it and bought the healing egg with badges instead >_<.

5 runs in naxx10 so far, not seen this drop, while every random greengeared shaman/paladin on my server has it, it seems. seen the shield pass by on atleast 15 different people in 10 minutes of idling in ironforge.

almost got full naxx25 gear but still wearing a @#$%ty blue shield (refuse to buy the badge one) /wrist :(

Excellent for elemental shamans. An improvement over https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=40700 due to the increased crit and haste rating. Currently the only upgrade from this is https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=40401 which drops from 25 man Kel'Thuzad.

Yes indeed excellent stats till you can replace it with voice of reason https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=40401 , but personally all i can say is that it's colours hurt my eyes.It does match coz i am wearing the blue version of the shammy tier 7.But still it's colour still hurts my eyes

Very good shield for a holy paladin too.
Has all the stats we need.
Also pretty easy to get it.

If you look at Kel'Thuzad, you will notice that this shield is in fact part of his headpiece. A very nice touch, I think.

This is why I hate what Blizzard did with drops. The last item using this look dropped from Kel'thuzad because it was part of his helmet... thing. Now they have them dropping off whatever bosses they felt like.

As a resto Shaman, I used Protective Barricade of Light for the longest time until my mp5 was around 465 while casting, and then switched to this shield for the better haste and crit. I still keep the barricade around for longer fights, or fights where I know I'll have mana issues.

I suggest getting both and switching them out as I do, it really adds to a healer's versatility.
