The Purified Spirit proc appears to have a 45 second internal cooldown and a 15% chance. Were it to proc every cooldown it would average out as 49.33 Spirit but because of the chance you are more likely to see an average of 1 proc per minute in sustained casting or 37 Spirit.

It procs on all spells,Damage, Healing, HOTs/DOTs, Buffs...

As reference, The Use effect on Earring of Soulful Meditation can give an average of 50 Spirit, restricted to Priests only though.

Gives me, as a level 80 resto druid, specced 14/0/57 (100% pure resto) 58.1 mp/5 for those 10 seconds, could prove to be useful, at least for a while til you find something better :)

Excellent trinket for a holy priest or resto druid. Not sure why that other guy reckoned it was any good for a holy pally... spirit doesn't directly buff the heals of paladins (whereas it does for specced druids and priests) and druids and priests rely primarily on spirit for their mana regen, again unlike pallies, so really a pally would be better off with a spell power trinket, a haste one or a crit one. Hence you'll notice there is no plate healing gear in the game with spirit on it, only leather and cloth.

awesome trinket is all i can say, it literly procs everytime the internal cd is off for me and it gives a nice mp5 for the time it lasts.
i'm glad i picket this over the feral trinkets

EDIT: i forgot to mention that the internal cd of 45 sec isn't accurate i was able to get the buff again after 26 sec when i spam healed

I have this on my Holy Pally and it even procs of my Summon Charger. This is truly one excellent trinket.

as a resto druid that is well into raiding naxx, OS, VoA, i still use this trinket and plan to continue using it until i can find a suitable replacement that is as good or better in the "mana regeneration / mana conservation" realm. my current planned upgrade is https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=40430 , but i know there is also one in Regular CoT: Stratholme that is a good upgrade as well https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=37111. I just cannot get people to run the regular version :P

As of 3.0.8 instant cast spells do not seem to proc this ability. Over 500 casts of lifebloom and rejuvenation have yet to produce a proc, but regrowth, wrath, and starfire proc it quite often.

CONFIRMED 3.1.1 for resto druids this still does not proc off of instant casts like Lifebloom and Wild Growth, but it does proc off each individual HoT tick.

This, in my opinion, is much better, seeing as druids normally have countless hots ticking at any one time and this allows for the trinket to proc within seconds of the internal cooldown becoming available.

Every time you see a green number, the trinket can proc.

This trinket is great and should almost be blue considering how powerful it is. I'll have to wait to 80 Heroics before replacing it, putting a green dent in my otherwise blue levelling set.... :-) I love this item!

If you get the proc while Spirit Tap is active, the amount of spirit gained will be doubled, tho it lasts as long as the trinket will be under effect rather then Spirit Tap.

It procs so often, sometimes I start to think it's random. It proc'd when I was opening a door in Scarlet Monastery, for example.
