I wonder if you could use the binary to get messages through the language filter? Ie, say something in binary, then have the member of the opposite faction type in into a translator and see what you said.

I just got this brew in the mail, the 10th of August 2011.
The mail said that I could buy more from the vendor, but the vendor only sold Draenic Pale Ale.

EDIT: For clarification, I had already recieved Draenic Pale Ale in the beginning of the month, which means that Brew of the Month Club sent out two brews in one month.

In case anyone's wondering, no, you cannot use this to talk to the gnomish engineering machines in gnomer into giving you free recipes, I just tried that. :)

This is a neat little drink, which i got from the Brew of the Month Club in september. It gives you a buff that lets you speak gnomish binary, translating everything you /say into a series of 1's and 0's. It does not work for party, trade, or guild chat. Also, it gives you a glowing blue aura. Lasts five minutes.

While this lets you speak binary, it does NOT let you read it. I have tried this on the punchographs in Gnomeragan.

It also may take a few drinks before it procs.

One last thing- Cross faction communication with this will probably not work, as Alliance gets "allows you to speak gnomish binary" and Horde gets "allows you to speak goblin binary."
