Sucks it lacks hit rating, i'd trade the haste for +hit and then it'd be perfect for feral druids or rogues :( So few things have +hit until epics.. *sigh* gg blizz.

Incorrect.

Haste does cause you to land more white hits.

Hit causes you to land white AND yellow damage. Thus, point for point, hit is a better investment than Haste until you're hit capped in most cases. There are, obviously, exceptions, but that's a general rule of thumb.

Actually, according to EJ, it's only 8% hit now. 5% from talents makes 3% from gear, which you really couldn't avoid even if you tried. So basically, don't even think about hit anymore. It's just another stat.
