This trinket is amazing. The original Alchemist's Stone was already good for mana-intensive raids, but this new one combines that brilliance with more healing than you can shake a stick at. I think the dream configuration for many healers will be this trinket combined with Illidan's Memento of Tyrande. It'll be really hard to top that trinket setup with the current itemization, and it works for any healing class.

But regardless of any combinations, I think this trinket is going to be really, really hard for most healers to take off.

This trinket is actually better then Memento of Tyrande now and as a priest I will wield it next to Darkmoon Card: Blue Dragon due to mana regen beeing so much more important than plus healing.

When chain potting a Super Mana Potion the effect will come out with:
Min: +720mana / 2min = 30mp5
Avg: +960mana / 2min = 40mp5
Max:+1200mana / 2min = 50mp5

If you for instanse are using a Major Dreamless Sleep Potion it will become:
1440 mana / 2min = 60mp5
The backdraw ofcourse beeing that you are sleeped.

In 2.4.0 spirit regen is heavily buffed. For me as a spirit stacking priest it will turn out to be ~120mp5 extra while casting (fully raidbuffed). And due to the imense regen from spirit the Darkmoon Card: Blue Dragon is greatly improved. Allready (2.3.3) it gives me ~400mp5 when it proccs and this can be prolonged by a Inner Focus and if lucky a Clearcasting proc.

So as far as I'm concerned and have calculated the card and the stone will be the absolutely best combination for a mana intensive fight.

In fights where mana isn't that big of a problem the tables turn quite a bit though. Then you might be fine using more healing to just downrank slightly instead. And then memento will be a very nice addition to the stone.

I wouldn't use Darkmoon Card simply because you have so much regen now sacrificing even more output for it is overkill. I very very rarely run out of mana as it is, so I would use memento over Blue Dragon because I really dont even need the mana regeneration as it stands.

Mp5 Isn't everything anymore because priests simply get so much from spirit. Don't make the mistake of sacrificing too much output for more regen. This Trinket + Memento is probably the best you could possibly hope for.

Question? Can you use this and another one of the specialty Alchemist's stones, say the +dmg/healing, or the original one with +15 to all stats, along with this?

If so, do the 2x 40% effects stack?

Not sure how this trinket is ilevel 125 as the +healing on it is actually more than Memento and the Equip gives more total MP5...

Anyways, I ditched one of my profs for this trinket....well worth it.

Saw this item thought "Yeah why not, I can manage with tailoring and alchemy, I can just AH my skill up".

Got to 371 alchemy before noticing the faction requirement! Being a lazy old so-and-so that I am I've never bothered really raising SSO faction. So, just a little word of advice folks. Yes it's beautiful, but make sure you either have the faction or are prepared to gain it.

I'm close now, can't wait to equip this thing, at least it gave me time to gather the mats, and let's face it, everyone should be exalted with SSO, my lazyness aside...

Here are some calculations made to figure out the Raw Mp5 gained from chain chugging Super Mana Potions when you have the Redeemer's Alchemist Stone equipped.

The amount of mana that a Super mana potion restores with the alchemist stone equipped is 2520 - 4200
(with the average being 3360, which is the value I will use to calculate said Mp5)

120 / 5 = 24
(This tells us that 24 5 second increments occur within 2 minutes, Hence Mp5)

3360 / 24 = 140
(This tells us how much Mp5 we get from an average super mana potion with the alchemist stone equipped)

On average you'll get 140 Mp5 if you chain chug super mana potions with an alchemist stone equipped, whereas if you didn't have an alchemist stone equipped, chain chugging would grant an average of 100 Mp5.

It's like a free 40 Mp5 on mana intensive fights... Not bad considering it also gives 119 additional healing =)

To get a better view about how « good » this item actually is, you can convert the 40% mana increase from drinking potions into mp5.

A Super Mana Potion gives you 2400 mana on average, this Alchemist Stone will give you around 960 extra mana every time you use a Super Mana Potion (2400 + 40% = 3360 mana on average Super Mana Potion use)
In very long/long boss fights (in short ones you won’t get oom anyway), if you drink a potion whenever the cooldown (2 minutes) is up, you would get:

960 / 120 = 8 mana per second from this trinket or 40mp5

All in all, with optimal use, this trinket can be seen as:

Equip: Increases healing done by up to 119 and damage done by up to 40 for all magical spells and effects.

The 40mp5 is really only counted if you use pots on a regular basis. Most resto shammys have close to 250 mp5 with water shield and very rarely pop pots. If this is your case I'd suggest keeping this in your bags for long fights and using memento/essence/direbrew.

Hi people...i want to know from the people who have this trinket, if the 40% increased efect aplies to effects of elixirs or potions...example... Haste potion increases haste rating by 400 by 15 sec... or flask of destiled wisdom ... increases intelect in 65 for 2 hours.. If anyone would ask i'll be grateful.

Anyone knows if i can have Sorcerer's Alchemist Stone and Redeemer's Alchemist Stone equipped at the same time (even though the +40% does not stack?
If so then the 2x2 Nether Vortex is worth the 60 badges.

Other than the spell power, it seems that this item is not worth the cost now that 3.02 is live.

Whats the point in 40% more if you can only use one pot per boss fight.

Nice - costs a good bit more than 600g of materials - I spent that on the Nether Vortex alone, add in the cost of the original Alchemist stone and the primal life, and you are up to 1500g easily.

Still - probably the best healing trinket possible, and I'm happy to have it.

It's unique - but I haven't tried stacking it with an original Alchemist's Stone - anyone know if that would work?

making this trinket consumes your already existent alchemist's stone in the process. im not sure if a normal alchemist's stones would stack if you made another, but i personally would rather not farm for mats.....again. anyway im a resto shaman on my server and im about 3.5k rep away from exalted hoping to get it tomorrow. i havnt seen anyone on my server with any of the exalted gear so im hoping to be one of the firsts :O

because your math is wrong thats how

assuming u pot a Super mana pot on each CD

if u get back 1800mana without a stone, u get 2520 with it a bonus of 720 "free" mana. Which over 2mins is 30mp5

if u get back 3000mana without a stone, u get 4200 with it a bonus of 1200 "free" mana. Which over 2mins is 50mp5

So at worst its 30mp5 chain potting, at best its 50mp5.

Surprise Surprise its a average of 40mp5 in the long run.

One of the BEST healing trinkets at the moment, and its not difficult to get.

Does anyone know if you can make this and another Alchemist Stone? (Guardians/Assassins/Sorcerers) It should be possible, but I just want to double check before I get all the mats, drop skinning, get it to 375 and notice myself...

can anyone read the above responses before they ask the same question over and over again? Obviously not! But the simple fact is why would you want to use both alchemist stones together? The other old alchemist stone (+15 to all stats plus 40% to pots) is trash... if your still rocking it you might want to save some badges and get the Essence of Martyr, or something comparable.
But the Redeemer's alchemist stone is definatley worth making, super sweet for any healer :D I LOVE IT! Really easy to gind the rep if you make sure to do the Shattered Sun dailies on the Island and in the Outlands (hellfire, netherstorm, Blades Edge, Nagrand, and SMV) you can get it in a week. I still had to do a couple heroic Magister's though.

You can get the recipe from the Quartermaster on the Isle once you hit exalted.

I jut droped tailoring with all pre Sunwell patterns for this thing, it is without a doubt worth it. In long ass fights it is superior to ANY trinket out there, get this, you wont regret it.

I am so close to getting this! Got exalted yesterday - just need 4 more Primal Mights and 2 more Nether Vortexs. Nether Vortexs are about 250G each on my server, very expensive. I have looked around and I think this may be the best healing trinket in the game - 119 +healing as opposed to Momento's 118 +healing.

I have made this stone, but there is 1 question i'd like to ask. I't sais that it requires 350 alch.. so if i remove my alch for another profession.. will i still be able to use it?

I think it's funny that you need 375 alchemy to learn the recipe to make this, yet you need 350 alchemy to wear it...

Got a question :
Ok, so you have your 375 alchemy and wearing this trinket...but if you unlearn alchemy?Will this trinket be automatically be taken from your character sheet to your bag?or maybe you'll be able to use it but without having any effects from it? or will it work just like warlord/high warlord items,like,once you've reached the needed rank,it doesn't matter if you'll fall to rank one,you'll still be able to use it even after taking it off?Just curious to know if you'll be able to use it even after unlearning alchemy

Attention, everyone who lvls alch only for this trinket - beware. 350 alch is not enough. It takes 375 to craft this trinket and it takes 350 to wear it.

Since you cannot lose 25 skill points, the true requirement is 375 alch.

KK Peeps listen up; After getting Xalted you gain LIGHT'S SALVATION as the proc.
This will increase heals by 220 and damage by 75 for 10sec. Dont know how to link this ability/proc yet but will find out....enjoy
