Is there any reason for this to be unique-equipped? You can only do the quest once...

Actually the reason this is unique-equipped is so that once it is socketed into an item, the item possibly being BoE, would then be soulbound to you. No putting it on a piece of gear in order to sell/trade.

Can anyone confirm that socketing this in a BoE item will make it soulbound? The description isn't like https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=33131 "Socketing this gem causes the item to become Soulbound."

Just curious as this gem has no purpose for me but could be great for my warrior in combination with https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=32756

You get it from a part of a quest chain in Zul'Aman.

Having done the first part of the main questline where you have to get the map near Nalorakk (the bear avatar) might be a requirement to start this chain, however I cannot confirm this.

Anyways, the first step in this questline is called Tuskin' Raiders, as far as I recall. You start it in the camp outside Zul'Aman, and basically you have to gather ten troll tusks. Those drop from most trolls in the instance, pretty plain and simple.

As you turn it in, you'll be given the task of entering Zul'Aman again to find the brother of the troll you gave the tusks to. Finding him isn't hard, really. Just as you start clearing towards Halazzi (the lynx avatar), you'll notice a hut in which there are a few packs. You can easily skip this hut if you just want to clear to Halazzi quickly, but the troll you have to find for the quest is in there. So basically, own the trolls, free your quest target. He'll be eternally grateful, end your quest, give you the third and final step and furthermore act as a repairsmith at a reasonably central location in the instance (so he's well worth freeing even if you don't have the quest).

The last and final part of the chain isn't really hard. Simply, visit Griftah in Shattrath (as of Patch 2.3 the cheeky bugger has returned to his old stall at the Lower City Market again, btw), show him the voodoo doll you got from the troll in the instance, and you'll receive this lovely gem for your trouble.

Disclaimers - I have no idea if the chain ends here as I haven't been back to ZA since I completed it. Also, everything in here is written as I remember it.

Also I'd like to know could it somehow be possible to get more of these gems? As they're Unique-Equipped which may hint that you can get more, so would be great to know if I safely can use them on my current arena armour or I should wait for some better.

This gem is BoP, and one of a kind per player. Once you complete the quest, thats it, it's the only Gem you get. You can't get another, so once you socket it, thats it.

It's +15 stamina so that every class can benefit from it, since every class uses stamina.

It's a small perk meant to be a one time enhancement blizzard gives us, but it would be too overpowered in their eyes if we could get a new one everytime we upgraded something.

My suggestion, bank it until you get something you know you won't replace for a while. Like the best weapon.. or your T5 Shoulders or something.

My gem went to my T5 Shoulders on my mage, since T6 shoulders are so far away in progression from T5.

and it doesnt matter what you put it in since you get freebie 15 stam gems from hyjal when you get to that ;)

For Pally Tanks:
Best socketed in the chestguard of the stoic guardian. This thing will stay in place until Hiyal/BT and there you will get the chance to have more +15 stamina gems anyway
