Very easy for Druids /Rogues to stealth in and out of the cave. Only 2 mobs, the mentioned Bear and Human but the bear is non attackable and asleep. This quest can be completes in the same area as The Fragrance of Money and Swabbin' Soap

Easy quest just enter the cave at the north end of the island and when u go in take a right...if jonah is still alive just take him out he hits like a wuss and the elite bear does nothing to attack u just go through the little hole in the grating.

At low health Jonah ran down to the bear and then... The bear killed him...

As a level 70 mage, used invisibility to get around the human. The bear just slept while I gathered the item and used invisibility again to get back out.

Both the mobs can be soloed. The bear was the only one that gave me a little bit of trouble, and I'm a 70 demon lock. I jumped off the edge and it took my pet (VW) a while to catch up... No death though.

As a Warlock it is easy just to kill both mobs. Took me 5 min. to kill them both :-) I am Demo lock and Jonah is Fear Able. Bear doesnt do any threat to u at all.

Are people still having problems with this? 73 mage easily got around Jonas without using invisibility by just walking along the opposite side of the cave that he was on. Bear was asleep and did not attack like everyone is saying, in and out under 5 minutes.

Easy as a lvl 72 enhacement Shammy. Just knock the guy down to about 9000 hp's and he will run away. Hit rage if you need it, drop a magma totem and wail away. Just kill the bear. He doesn't hit very hard. Dropped spirit wolves and blasted away with Stormstrike and Earth Shock and he came down quick.

I went back with my 78 rogue to check on something, and the elite bear does not have any good skinning drops if you kill him.
Just saving someone else the time of trying.

Be careful, if you kill the Bear and the Human, they both have short re-spawn time. Killed the guy and bear in 1 minute tops and when I left he just re-spawned.

In case you had problems like me to find the heart - in the den of the bear there is a ramp which leads to the area where you can pick up the heart.

I killed the bear three times (always thought that the bear would drop the heart)

You need to get "Mad" Jonah Sterling to low enough health that he will run away. His bear minion will kill him for you. You kill the bear and take a windy ramp up to 32.35.78.64 and you will find the heart there.
