Tested out both: Sporeling Snack and Kibler's Bits..
They are not actually a food for you or your pet. Pet doesn't get any happiness from it, just a buff. You don't even gave to sit while eating it, just r.click once. For raiding pet i would prefer snack and for pvp bits.
I can also say that you can use these 2 for your pet and after that eat some "human food" to get well fed bonus on you.

its very rare to get that (like 2% drop as some ppl say) but i hope i ll get it... the last recipe for the outland gourmet and just waiting 3.0.8 to get the last recipes that dont exist yet for the northrend gourmet and *poof* Prada the Chef (of Stormreaver) :P

been doing the cooking dailies for pretty much a year with my druid, and this is the ONLY one that I have YET to get. Needless to say I have to go back to Outlands every day to do the cooking daily to try and finish that Achievement.

I've been doing the Shattrath daily cooking quests for about a month also and no drop for me.... I have been randomly picking the Fish Barrel and the Meat Crate... ./cry... I also need this last recipe for my The Outland Gourmet Achievement! I'm going to try what Loralynn did and see if I get any luck. =)

I just got it! Woo after three months of Shattrath cooking dailies... Not sure if it matters but, the quest I got was Manalicious and I picked the Crate of Meat. Good luck peeps and don't give up!

this is so damned demotivating, i'm doing the daily cooking for several months (4-5?), only this one and bloodfin missing and it just won't drop from the barrel of fish, which should contain both >.<

I got the recipe after 2 months grinding, so it still drops. Next patch will give some ease for us, droprate will be raised a bit.

After 4 monts of doing this crappy daily quests i got this recipie (4/7-09) from super hot stew quest after picking "Crate of meat" Now i have it on 2 chars, got them both after picking "crate of meat"

To those of you, like me, who need this, and only this, to complete their Chef achievement, this is from the 3.2 patch Notes.

Cooking
Blackened Dragonfin Recipe: Now only requires 1 Dragonfin Angelfish.
Chef's Hat is now superior quality and allows the chef to cook faster.
Increased the drop rate for recipes from the Outland Daily Cooking quests.

Grinding this on patch 4.0.3 on 12/14/10. Ironically, I received Stormchops before this. Delicious Chocolate Cake came in Northern Spices bag, as well as Captain Rumsey's Lager (the cake recipe actually dropped the very first day I did a Dalaran cooking quest). But I have done these stupid quests everyday without success on Kibler's Bits.

Outland in general has been a pain the butt this patch. I've completed all the new SW fishing and cooking dailies, and all of the Dalaran cooking and fishing daily achievements (save NR Gourmet) in roughly two weeks. However, even though I've been doing The Rokk dailies for weeks and earned the achievement, I've had no success getting this last recipe. Also, Old Man Barlow's has not offered the last two quests - Bait Bandits and the Felblood quest - though I've been visiting him almost every day for a month. What is up with that?

Frankly, I am ticked off with Blizzard for the way they are running things this patch. They raped the XP from OL, and you can only do these quests once you hit 70. Therefore, it's extremely slow to level to 71 or higher. However, if you're trying to finish Hail to the Chef, you also need to be in NR everyday, and they removed the portal! So unless you're and Engineer with a Northrend Wormhole or a Mage, you are stuck.

I'll just keep trying to get the crate of meat everyday and hope this drops. Sigh.

Okay, been doing the Outland Daily for cooking now for four months, at least six times a week. Cooking maxxed out, level 85.

No drop.

Two GM's have stated that I just need to keep doing it, with the crate of meat as a reward. The three players with the Chef title I've spoken too have all had to have GM's mail them the recipe as it wouldn't drop for them.

Getting very frustrated that I have to keep doing this obnoxious quest since February every day.

Wow I got this on my very first time doing the Outland cooking daily after hearing the recipe dropped from here. Was doing the Manalicious daily and chose the crate of meat.; now time to make some money! These babies sell for 10g each on the AH on Lightbringer (US) :)

Got this on my second time choosing crate of meat as of patch 4.3, first time I got Recipe: Spicy Hot Talbuk, looks as though it may have been patched to guarantee you get both recipies when choosing the crate of meat reward.

The recipe is a random reward from the cooking daily quest, which is obtained from The Rokk in Lower City at 61, 16. You can randomly get the recipe from either the Barrel of Fish or the Crate of Meat.

Just got this in the Meat one.

As a Hunt this is great. Was giving my pet (a cat) the sporellng snacks, but seeing as his Stam is 440 but his st is only 162 i'll be feeding im the Kibler's Bits for a buff from now on.

I'm really lucky ! First time i do any daily (and the cooking quest of the day was "Super Hot Stew"), and i choose the Barrel of Fish, and *boom* this recipe is inside ! Wonderful, as i have a hunter alt ^^

For once, i was lucky :) *happy*

Has anyone gotten this recipe yet in TBC Classic or is it currently unavailable until a future patch like the barmaid Kylene's cooking recipes? Wowhead says it was added in patch 2.5, but some of the old comments here are from 2.2 and they say they got the recipe. Just unsure if it's a possible drop yet or if I have to wait.
