I found this to be better than the Ravenguard necklace. It gives 3 less stamina and adds block value and defense as opposed to 40 stam and 4 more defense.

I guess if you are absolutely in need of the 4 defense then go for the Ravenguard. I put more value on the shield block as it seem harder to come across. Tough decision to make. . .

Nice tanking neck, in my opinion it is a it better then the one you can get from sethek halls because of the extra mitigation from lock, at the price of 3 stam.

For those of you thinking of getting this, note that there is an identical item from another quest chain:

I opted to get another item from "The Hound-master" quest, and plan on getting Thalodien's Charm in the other quest line.

Is https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=58671/qa-combat-test-hunter-shoulders only for Scryers?
I know that Aldor has a similar quest, but gives you neck and ring.

If you only get this if you are not yet revered with CEnarion expedition. This has 10 sta and the block over Strength of the Untamed but SotU has more def and 18 dodge (1% at 70) which i would muh rather have over a little block and sta is easy to come by. and u should get revered with basically everyone anyway if u wanna do heroics.
