Well, the upgraded vers of https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=29533 ...good enchant for epic equip, it shouldnt go to anything lower since the Primal Nether has to be taken by the crafter, and this means taking him to some runs of lvl 70 (in heroic mode seems to have higher chance)...imo to hard to get for a non-epic pants

Wait for the patch when you can buy Nethers with badges. Otherwise it's really not worth the cost for the measly 10ap and 2%crit.

Let me make this simple. They are worth it.
Example
You get Leggings of Assassination from Heroic Shadow Labs. (Or Normal if you like)
256AC
40 Agi
33 Stam
+22 to Hit Rating
+44 to AP
This will also get you the Primal Nether to make the armor kit. Making this item (if you did Heroic)
256AC
40 Agi
33 Stam
22 to Hit Rating
+94 to AP
+12 to Crit Rating.

Now you can compare this to another drop. Lets say an Epic that drop of Kael'Thas.
Leggings of Muderous Intent
380 AC( Loss of 124)
45 Agi (Loss of 5)
31 Stam (Loss of 2)
+37 Crit (Loss of 37/25)
+92 Crit( Loss of 47/Gain of 2)

As you can see, by doing a five man Shadow lab run, you can get almost all you need for a great set of legs.

Think about it, would you like to take weeks killing Kael (and then the chance of it droping), or take hours getting something easier?

These are also really good for your twink, these or the 400hp 12agi. But if u want them u need to have some pants thats not soulbound.

(if u find it hard to find some1 thats makin them, Im making around 1-2 of them every day, whisp me if u want. Villain, Frostmane)

The other cobra leg armour gives only 10 ap and 2 critrating less, and for what, even less than half the cost of this.

The high cost for this does not make it worth it. If it was 20 ap and 10 critrating or so more, then it would be.

As a pvp warrior this is my first choice for a leg enchant, arena/pvp epics already put me at close to 12k health unbuffed so I can take the loss of stam.

For a rogue (season 2), I find that this kit is superior to the nethercleft due to the fact that the only reason you need stam is to keep you from being burst down. After that, you should simply stack dps and resilience. 10k hp 1500 ap and 30% crit vs. 11k hp 1200 ap and 24% crit with the same amount of resilience. Rogues live and die by dps and cooldowns. We're only good in the first 45 seconds to 1:30 of an arena match, and after that something on the other team needs to be dead. Get to it, rogues!

Leatherwoker lvl 365 can make this but also needs 2 be exalted with Thrallmar (horde) or Honor Hold (alliance).

With this enchant, is it just Attack Power, or does it increase Ranged Attack Power as well, I'm not too familiar with the hunter class, just I want to make a twink and I'm not sure weather or not I'm wasting my time and gold for 12 crit rating.

It affects Ranged Attack Power as well, making it the best hunter leg enchant for dps.

For min/maxing, this is the best possible melee DPS leg enchant. However, let's face it... This is a 200g increase over Cobrahide Leg Armor, for only 10 AP and 2 Crit rating. In other words, save this for when you have a set of legs you're going to keep for a loooooong time, but slap the Blue version on those Kara legs.

forgive my ignorance, but can you use this on chars below 60?

e.g. Can you get a level 60+ Guildie to use this on your level 35 Pants in trade?
Or do you HAVE to be level 60 to put it on anything?

I would just like to add: Primal Nethers since 2.4 are no longer soulbound, so you can buy them from the AH and use them just like any other mat. This means you no longer have to find a crafter with nethers, which should save you some money.

As a mutilate rogue, this is the best choice, defeinetly. But, it's a matter of playstyle, every1 aint same, so i think that u cant say that this is for PvE, cleft for PvP. =)

Full Kara clear w a good tank takes about 1.5 hours tops, 22 badges, nuff said.
In a Raid environment, the marginal upgrade from the Cobrahide VERY MUCH does add up at the end of the raid.

Selling for alot more than 550g on most servers (as of season 4 hitting) and the price for the cobra scales / primal airs has skyrocketed as well.

If this is like the other leg kits from 70, the tooltip has not been updated but using this on an item causes it to become soulbound. Sorry for all you new twinks; you can't compete with the old twinks it seems. Although there is a new aspect of twinking--that being Wintergrasp Bind to Account gear.

Hmmm. This doesn't say anything about the level of the item its put on; Does it make whatever you modify soulbound, or can this be put on BoE pants and passed to an alt?

You have to be 60 to attach the leg armor. It doesn't matter what level the pants are, but you can only do it to items that have not been soulbound yet. No on BoP twink itemns.

Isnt it a vendor recipe ^^. Anyway just spot one of those "imba expensive" leg armors in my AH for 995g :D. Yes about same prices for mats ~ 300g but 400g+ for this is total pathetic.
And wot bout the cobra only leg armor, twice cheap reagents for only 2 point crit cheap and a .. 5 AP ^^. This stuff make me rofl to stomachache, aahha ^^

Yes, you only need to be level 60 to use the item, there is no need to have Leatherworking to use this item.

its obviously a better enchant for teh legs but whether its worth it or not depends on your access to the mats. casual players will go for the cobrahide, more frequent players and those that farm a lot/do heroics will go for the nethercobra patch as the mats arent to much of a pain to get. if you could get primal airs easy you would pick this one, depends on how much cash you want to spend on your gear.
also helps to know people in the proffession, every hunter should have a pet leatherworker :)

Been farming all the mats for this yesterday except for the primal nether of course, took me a few hours to do it but it is worth it in my opinion.

The hardest part for me was to actually find a leatherworker with thrallmar on exalted.

She charged 250G for crafting + the primal nether.

I will use it on my gladiator legs. Dont think i am gonna replace the legs for a new one anytime soon.

I'm trying to get this on my Demonstalker pants thanks to my guild downing Gruul the other day. Seems like it's worth it if you get something you won't be replacing in a while. Easier mats to farm than I would have imagined. Damn primal nethers. :P

It depends.

If you're looking for a leg enchant for a blue, and you know you're not going to be wearing them forever, it isn't worth a Nether nor the trouble of buying or farming the material.

However, if you're going to be wearing those pants until, quite possibly, the next expansion, Nethercobra is for you. 10 AP and 2 more crit isn't worth slapping on a throwaway green or a blue, but it's certainly worth something you're not gonna get rid of.

So, BoE AH things? No.

Gladiator gear? Feel free!

Hey guys, I know that this item must be attached by a level 60.

My question is can my friend who is level 70 attach this item to some leggins that my level 49 Warrior has already equipped using the trade window?

If not, I may need to buy something new that is BoE and do it that way!

nope it has to be done in the inventory.
so you need new boe pants taht has not been soulbound.

I just relized this today.... me and my brother where talking about these items that you get from being reped with the aldor or scryer (https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=28910/greater-inscription-of-the-blade) they add 15 crit rating to a shoulder slot item. people where able to put this on an item and then send the item to a twink, until blizz fixed it. i asked my brother why you would go through that much trouble to get them. turns out that it's about 21.5 crit rating @ lvl 70 = 1% crit. at lvl 60 it's about 14 crit rating = 1% crit. i calculated it out and if i'm right at lvl 19 it would be about 2crit = 1% crit
so this item was giving about 7% Crit chance. i thought that if you ever found an item that you could enchant or something on a lvl 19 armor that would add any crit rating it would be crazy. that is tell i remembered these armor Kits....
My Main Point: 40 stam. 12 agil. is awesome but when it all comes out wouldn't you much rather have =6% crit and =50 attk. i guess it depends but i'd go with the = 6% crit

No vendor sells it. Leatherworkers make it.

I just got midnight legguards from Heroic SP and attached one of these. I'm a LW but didn't feel like farming the HH rep so i just got all the mats and payed a druid 150g for his nether. I'm not a hardcore raider so i'm not too concerned with replacing my midnight legs any time soon. IMO it was worth the extra money for the extra AP/crit.

I know you have to be exalted with Honor Hold to buy this, but does anyone know exactly who it is that you buy it from? i know there's the LW who's right next to the inn, so i'm assuming that it comes from him, but i was hoping that someone knows for sure. i'm close to be exalted at this point and can't wait to be able to make these since i have a ton of primal nether stocked up over the past 2 months from all the group raids my guild has done, hopefully i'll get the chance to use it relatively soon.
