Considering the difficulty of heroic OH (although I haven't tried it since the Mortal Strikes nerf), this item leaves something to be desired.

Since it hasn't been mentioned yet, this trinket has a two minutes (120 second) cooldown.

I heard ALL trinkets have a global cooldown of 15 sec. Is this fact?
For example:
Does Arcanist's Stone stack with Icon of the Silver Crescent? https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=29370
Or even Eye of Moam? https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=21473
These are all different types of trinkets and lengths of cooldowns, and any of these combos would rock.

Healing trinkets for the most part dont share a CD with other healing trinkets unless the use effect is exactly alike. In comparison to dps trinket they wont stack though you are able to chain use back to back allowing for 40 seconds of increased dps

Yes. This is very much so not useless. It's better than the icon of the silver crescent by far for raiding unless you have your hit rating capped already.

I honestly keep both in my bags though in case I switch to pvp gear.

1. It's damage and healing, which is useful to all casters. The bonus is actually on the low side for healing; you can easily find more healing elsewhere.

2. It has a huge amount of spellhit for a trinket, which is completely useless for healing purposes, though priests sometimes need spellhit for Shackle and Mind Control.

3. In general, the trinket Use: effect sucks compared to the alternatives, and the only reason you'd ever want to equip this is if you wanted the spellhit.

4. If you are Scryers, you want Scryer's Bloodgem instead of or in addition to this trinket, as it is better.

+150dmg for 15s...

its a 5s longer dmg bonus!

For a dmg caster, this trinket owns!

Other sites records it as dropped from Epoch Hunter in Old Hillsbrad Foothills. Very few drops recorded suggest Heroic mode and perhaps also rare.

Leinez,it gives on average 167*20/120=27.8 +damage compared to 150*15/90=25 so "way better" might be an exaggeration. However it is better.

Well, if you're like me and DE'd / vendored you're two +hit trinkets that ya got from levelling in Outland, and you're an Aldor... you may in fact like this a lot... why you may ask...well, if you're the designated mage tank for the Maulgar fight, the two things you really need are +stam and +spell hit... because if your spellsteals are getting resisted... you're up the creek fast. Seeing as there are very very few +hit trinkets, and very few +stam. trinkets for that matter, any ones you can get for that fight are a plus. Something like this + the Timelapse shard would be quite nice IMO for the designated mage tank. Keep in mind too that if you're spells are resisted... it doensn't matter how much +dmg or +crit you have on you... so this could find uses for boss fights.

as a holy pally (with for the love of all things unholy, no other means of getting spell hit >.<) I'd tap that

I just recently got this trinket and let me tell you that it was a mission to get. It took us over 4 hrs to clear all the mobs and down the 1st two bosses so tha we could get to the last boss. The final bosses adds were 100x harder than the final boss! Personally, you need to have a tank that has at lest 15K hp, at lest "1 UBER Mad out of his mind healer", followed by at lest 2 CC (mage and hunter is how we did it on my server, Eonar). You need a group that is doing Kara on farm, Gruuls on farm and so on in order to get this hardest of hard heroic Durn completed! GL to you all, the trinket PWN's and is great for end game bosses because of the +spell hit rating.
