Currently this item is bugged. It is s'posed to summon a mob that helps you combat the bosses ( or mobs ) by putting a debuff on them that slows attack speed. Unfortunatly, the ally mob often disappears befroe using the attack which is not s'posed to happen. GG.

If you lose your chrono-beacon in a wipe you don't have to reset the instance or abandon your quest. If you just wait for Medivh to respawn, the quest NPC at the start will give you another then.

My group generally uses one at 11 to prepare for boss at 12, then one at 14, 15, 16, and 17, or 15, 16, 2 at 17 to prepare for the last boss.

The dragon it spawns can hold aggro well against the rift guys, so I would suggest putting it right on top of wherever the rift guys are.

Disappears when you exit the instance, sometimes may not let you get another if you're out for too long.

Doesn't aggro against the basic mobs in the instance, only things spawned from the rifts.

Use to defend Midevh in Black Morass. Used by throwing it at him.

Ohh.. He has tons of health and he will last for about 20 seconds or so.

On Waves 13-17 each person in your group should drop this on the Rift Keeper.

It has an AoE cast circle, so wait until aggro is established and the dragon won't move around too much and let him go!

do i have to have higher than a friendly rating with the keepers of time? sa'at doesn't give me a beacon. :(
