I made one of these - mostly to level up that last bit of tailoring that I needed.

Mats are 5 primal mana and a rune thread, so depends on the market for your primal mana, but you could probably make some decent money off of these for a little while.

These threads are not worth the market. They are better suited for your self of for those who have the mats. Primal Mana goes 20-25g per. These are like fringe benifits for tailors and those who grind their own primals.

These threads dont quite sell well for 100g O.o

Personal use IMO.

This is a great item, even if you can't sell it on the market. Make sure all your caster buddies know you can make this.

Maybe it's a noob question, but I'd like to be sure: according to the description it's *damage* only, so it doesn't have any influence on healing?

I really lack nice druid items with feral stats + damage and healing, not healing only, like old PvP sets or AQ40 set. That's I'd like to imbue some parts of pure feral armor with damage+healing enchants :-)

It's not worth buying from the Auction house.
I'd recommend farming the Primal mana yourself.
It saves you a lot of money and it doesn't take that long!

Say I got a level 60+ character, can I enchant this on boe pants for say a level 39 twink. Would it make the BoE pants BoP? or stay boe?

Why are these things so expensive? 120g buyout? It's 5 Primal Mana, sure, but that's it, so surely it doesn't count that highly?

There were rumors Mystic Spellthread doesn't work on items below level 35 at the moment. I can confirm that it indeed DOES work, I just used it on Darkweave Breeches without any problem.

You need to be 60 to use it, the item does not need to be 60.

So these can be used to twink out lowbies if the pants are boe.

Note: You must be level 60 to apply the Mystic Spellthread and you must own the item you are applying it to (in your backpack. It cannot be applied in the "Do Not Trade" portion of a trade window. And it must be a level 35 item or higher.

If you have legs that you want to add some spell dmg nad dont have more that 200 g, then buy thoose. Almost just as good the Runic spellthread that cost around 350 g (35 spell dmg and 20 stamina). So you only lose 5 spell dmg and 5 stamina.

What alot of people do for twinks is get some BOE pants and send them to their 70 and make them put them on legs..great way to get stam and spell dmg up fast:) and here is the epic version. https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=24274

A good way to make money on some servers at low levels is buy the mats, beg a 70 to craft it for you (usually for free if you're below 60 yourself, pity is a powerful emotion) and then stick it on the AH for 20g more than the mats. Average buyout 100g yes please.

Just a quick note (as of 3.0.2), other than being able to be made by Aldor Tailors with a different set of materials, there is NO difference between these and the Silver Spellthread.

This item is good for twinks. have 75% of people in WoW that use cloth and power magic like mages , priests and warlock. this item is usefull in bg making people hard to die (because so many stams) and making our spell damage increased. people in Caelestrasz Server can ask Khalnoq (Horde) to make this for you.

this takes 10 primal mana which go for up to 10g on AH.

I personally dont think its worth THAT much..you're better off farming the mats and paying for just creation.

A tailor makes the thread, but can any level 60+ character apply the thread to an item, or do you need tailor to apply the item to your leg armor?
