NOONE can argue that this is warrior only, it's EXACLTY what i need to be better at what i do. Also, you should need/greed according to how YOUR group/raid decide, not how people here seem to think you should. As long as you follow your own rules you will do nothing wrong.

In my guild a need is something which you are going to equip pretty much ASAP. As far as im concerned, warriors, pallys, feral druids and yes, even rogues should be allowed to need this.
It does have warrior stats, but then again druids tank too...ie-warrior.

I would never need only to sell it, and my guild would never allow it, unless NOONE could use it.

It's a great ring which could improve every melee class, it's arrogance and ignorance of other classes to think otherwise.

i bought one with my rouge, some1 was stupid enough to sell it for 8g, so i couldn't just leave it there in the ah.
It's great. I can't wear it yet (cause i'm lvl 48 now) but when im the right lvl i'm sure i will like this ring.

This is probably one of the, if not THE best ring you can get for a melee DPS class around this level. Tanks might want to get a Nagelring instead, although be aware that Nagelring is a drop from Golem Lord Argelmach in Blackrock Depths.

This ring just dropped for me from a Sand Skitterer in Silithus, while i was doing the quest Deadly Desert Venom and Securing the Supply Lines.
Going to try to sell this next time i visit the AH.

I sold it on AH within the 48h it was there, for 200g buyout
i was happy for this, as it got me the last golds for my epic mount.
I suppose i could have sold it for more, but whatever, im happy for it :)

I got it on a Chillwind Ravager in Winterspring while grinding Frostsaber Trainers rep to get the Winterspring Frostsaber. I had no idea how much I could sell it so I started with 280 g. 10 mins later someone bought it. I guess he wanted it really bad lol.

I also got Destiny while grinding this rep :P

I have months of sales data stored on my Auctioneer addon for my server and this ring gets near 300g easy, It has just dropped for me in Stratholm while 2 manning with a friend and he didn't want it, lol.

As for where to "start" your pricing on ANY server... you list it high and if it don't sell, re-list it a little lower. Starting at 100g, as suggested above, leaves money on the table. Maybe somebody would pay 280-300g, as also mentioned above but you "started" at 100? you just lost 180g for no reason. A good habit is to go into trade chat and ask for pc (price check), there is always players like me that are parked at the AH on their banker who will whisper you some good numbers so you don't lose money. I'm always happy to do it for players who dont have the time or the data, I don't care if i gotta compete with them in AH, i want them to make money too :)

I picked this ring up for 220 gold at level 53 for my ret paladin (the earliest level you can equip it at) and replaced it at level 67 with Ogre Slayer's Band, a reward from the quest Cho'war the Pillager. The other ring that I am using is Felblood Band, obtained very early into Outlands, from the level 60 quest: The Cleansing Must Be Stopped.

Between Felblood Band and Ogre Slayer's Band, outside of all dungeons, there were no other viable upgrades to replace Myrmidon's Signet, so keep that in mind if you're looking for an early upgrade. It's clearly the best ring for 59 twinks as well.

Dropped off a normal mob in a 5 man scholo group. Priest rolled, then mage rolled, and I figured I should roll as a warlock since they did. I rolled 100 and understandably the warrior was pissed. After 5 min of discussing the situation (I thought we could handle it after the instance to see what else dropped) I decided to give it to him. I had a level 60 warrior, but I know that alt chars shouldnt matter for rolling.

Group lasted about 20 min into scholo after 2 wipes and the guy hasnt said 2 words to me since. I didnt expect a gift of 500g or anything, but I was hoping for at least a little gratitude. Regardless of what a person's stance on epic rolling in groups, Ive been really regretting handing it over. I know for sure the priest and mage wouldnt have since they told me I was crazy to give it to him -shrugs-

This dropped for the 2nd time in Scholo, and for the 2nd time it was ninjaed. Good luck if this drops for you in a PUG, because people become pretty stupid when BoE epics drop.

This dropped for me in UBRS off of one of the orc's in the arena, for some odd reason everyone rolled need for it the mages said they needed it to add to spell crit, hunters said they needed it for pvp reasons, and of course all the warriors needed it cause we actually did need it, after all that it went to the hunter it was on the AH 2 hours later for 500g /sigh it goes to show how greed people are

was farming strat for orbs and this thing dropped ..3 wars in group and 1 rogue 1 prst all same guild ...well we all need rolled cept for prst (much love for that) and of course i lost...well did get orbs for crusader so not a total loss...went to winterspring to farm some rep and decided to up my fishin skill a lil ..finally got the rod from the fisherman in raventusk..3rd cast i "caught" this ring ..i thought i was seein !@#$ for a sec ...it had only been about 45min since it dropped in strat..prolly the luckiest day ive had on wow..well did have 2 kang the decapitators drop in the same day for me ...but i still use the ring on my 65 war and it still pretty much owns

and yes that ring will pretty much work foe any class..if ur buying it who cares what someone else says ..but its better for some classes or builds than others but i cant see anybody not usin it ..17 stam ?..170 hp is 170 hp after all...that makes it worth it by itself

i went to ruins of andoral as a lvl 70 mage i killed that big lvl 61 elite and AoE her adds that surrounded her and i looted them all and hey look what dropped this little thingy i think i should sell it in ah for 200g :D

I was with two guildies in the nothern plaguelands. We killed a frenzied plaguehound and it dropped. I was the only warrior in the group and to my amazement, they just said 'take it, you can use it' So thanks to them and their kindness, I got this puppy =)

If you have enchant as your 2nd prof (as I do, with mining my first) - you can just disenchant your first ring into mats, then pick up the second.

Whilst the idea of vendoring your first ring sounds good, chances are the body will have disappeared by time you return to loot it.

Besides, epics usually disenchant into rather valuable mats ;)

I was farmin Twilight for Cenarion rep suddenly there came the message for elemental invasion. So I started farming elementals, got 3 essences and 1 Demonslayer. Back to Twilight farming, the first mob dropped it. One of my rather successful days playing WoW ^^.

Few weeks ago I was in Winterspring farming for the bop Pattern: Robe of Winter Night from the Elite Dragonkin just south of Everlook. I was actually out there with a hunter buddy of mine, who was farming for his Mature Blue Dragon Sinew, so we were partied up and working together.

Probably an hour or two into our grind(it had been our 4th or 5th day there farming for the patterns/sinew), the 'oh snap! something better than an uncommon item dropped, hit that dice!' box popped up after looting a Cobalt Mageweaver, and this ring was lighting the need or greed box up with it's purpleness .. hehe.

Anyways, I've been playing World of Warcraft since March 2005, and to date, I've only had 2 BoE Epics drop for me outside of any instances... and both epic drops were this ring. Kinda crazy, eh? My first drop was in the EPL at Corrin's Crossing back on May 7th 2006. Actually I came and posted after getting that drop ... somewhere below.

But ya, Sold for 375g I believe.

the worst thing of using this ring is that if it dropps for you you cant pick it up again. Its unique and you can only carry oneitem at the time.

Was it that valuable? Dropped off a caster mob in Scholo last night, hunter + rogue + me (warrior) needed and I won. A Shammie wanted to n for PvP but was advised not to and didnt (/respect). Didn't realise how good it was as I got Valor helmet and went mad over it.

droped in Alterac Valley of a Wildpaw Brute, but i didnt equip it on the second tho, but just before i found this, i found a pumpkin bag, soulkeeper, stoneraven and hanzo sword ;D so grinding in av is the best to get money fast :)

Got this nice ring off of a Dark Adept in Corin's Crossing, on the westmost part of the path cutting through the town.

I was bored and chatting in /w with a few people I hadn't seen online in a long while, and just killing the mobs as they reappeared just at the edge of Corin's Crossing, and this ring dropped off the last mob I decided to kill before heading back to Undercity. Looted the corpse, and thought I was imagining it...

Heh, and to think I spent an hour or two before heading through the Crossing in Tyr's Hand hoping for a blue or purple drop with no luck...

It's up in AH right now, I won't say for how much until it sells, but this was my first epic drop outside of an instance(yea, meaning no party members to /roll with) w00t

Truly one of my favorite rings, although i'm primarily a hunter/rogue kind of guy how does this ring work for casters? I'd imagine that the stamina is a huge plus, anyone?

Was outside farming for soulshards when it dropped off a scorpion. I was in a raid that was just setting up for AQ and there were people from the raid in Silithus, but only I and 1 other person who was all the way in Menethil Harbor, got the roll dialog box. Needless to say that run group sucked cuz they were too busy moaning about attitiudes and we couldn't get past the first two mobs, but I got the ring :)

Median Buyout on my server is 1200g on the AH. I gave it to a gnome rogue and she gave me a lap dance. :)

2 fell in the same UBRS instance! I rolled 98 on the first one and a 100 on the 2nd! Skullflame also fell and I won with a 91! then, Krol Blade fell an I won with only a 78!

So we get a guild Tribute run, in hope of a ogre king ring.. and near the entrance, those crappy insect mobs that you AoE,.. dropped this ring! =D I got it, and better yet, my 2nd green ring did get replaced with Ogre Ring too ^^ good stuff
