I'm assuming that this will be a world instance drop...

It will give the entire buffed party 60 Shadow Resistance for 20 minutes and requires a Sacred Candle to use. Great for Baron runs!

Got this Drop form Strat last Night from a Ghoul right before the 3.Ashanti Cristall. if u Cast it, the whole grp gehts a 20 Mins Buff.

It dropped for my guild on onyxia. However it must be a random BOE drop from most 5-10 man high lvl instances

I have seen these drop multiple times in stratholme (both sides), scholomance, and ubrs. Random mobs. While I have only run DM a couple of times since patch, thus far have not seen any drop there. Worst case one of my guildmates ran about 4 or 5 instances before hers dropped.

The approximate rate of drops we've seen so far is about 1 or 2 for every instance run. Generally haven't seen more than one codex in the same run though.

Don't bother paying the inflated prices to get it quickly. They drop enough that the price will plummet soon enough, if you'd rather not do the farming.

Prices are coming down fast on Dunemaul. Drop rate must not be that bad because there're 4 in AH, with easy buyouts at 40g. Prices should drop even more in no time.

Ive seen these as high as 250, within 3 weeks there were so many in AH they were going for 7g, thats when I bought mine!

Lol i was a lvl 50 priest in DM west with some good friends and this dropped off one of the trees patroling the first corridor. Freaking awesome cuz i saw these going for 100g+ on Dunemaul.

They're going for as low as 20g on Arthas, 4/23. I've seen the price drop from 60g to 20g since they first started dropping.

Got this off of a guy on a Strat SM run. Not bad...20 minute duration, adds 60 shadow restance.

I got this today in Dire Maul North off a Gordok Brute. We killed around 20 before it dropped which is not exactly alot. I had ran stratholme twice before this and no luck.

It look's as though it has a chance of dropping of almost all mob's in the high level instances, although I cannot confirm this.

It require's a Secred Candle.

it isnt novelty pricing as much as it is supply and demand being very far apart ATM... the other books are cheap cause there are very few priest/druid/mages that DONT have them already, so you have to basically give those away

this book is so new, and so few people have it, that most priests that are in MC guilds are willing to pay a fair amount for it. I know I paid 150g a few minutes ago for it

Dropped today from Balzaphon in UD strat along with his staff, i scored this and a lock got the staff. I didn't even know this had just come out, looked on the AH after i used it and someone was selling one for 220G.

And all those mc priests wanting this, my priest only just hit 60 and i scored it :).

This book dropped from the Baron in Strat undead side.

It requires 1 sacred candle to cast. Same as Prayer of Fortitude and Prayer of Divine spirit
