This is the only weapon ingame with flat damage. the top and low end damage are the same, and if you look at it ingame it just says "90 damage".

This bow is great for the theorycrafters out there, you can see exactly how much damage per shot X other item will increase your damage by.
Especially good for testing Armour Penetration gear.

I've kept this bow past slightly higher leveled bows / guns because of that flat dmg.

Actually it rocks, look on damage range. Perfect if you want some true, dependable damage.

Anytime you look at a bow, you have to consider speed. With the 2.3 speed on this, a scope will move it to a higher dps class than most bows considered better than it. Plus, with the 70-71dmg it is a much better bow than the dps shows. Most bows even 1 or 2dps higher are in the 40-50's on low end dmg. no, you won't set any crit records with it, but you'll know exactly what kind of performance youll get out of it, which you wont with a bow that has 57-114dmg rating

This bow is a great way to add 10 shadow resist when you need it, but don't care about your ranged weapon :) For rogues and warriors.

Too bad it looks so boring.

I'm a PVPer and use the Bloodseeker, but when I do PVE I use this because of the 70-71 damage. Very cool feature, and i didn't even notice that until I was using the bow for a month or so. Don't think I've seen another ranged weapon that has that same kind of damage.

I got this bow last weekend and all i can say is that its a useless bow when you already got a Gorewood. Baroness Anastari is a boss Stratholme so thats where this thing drops.

However the reason why this is useless is because @ 60 every hunter has a gorewood bow or better (if not you better go cry in a corner and be ashamed since gorewood is a quest reward)And you wont be invited to this instance before level 60 a lot.

To answer your question Nekoh, it looks ugly, sorry.

hopefully by now people have figured out this is awesome for warriors when tanking ebonroc in BWL, and will probably be useful in naxx (i think theres SR needed in naxx, right?) not that there will be much time spent in either of the two once the patch comes out.

Just received this bow tonight. Had to stop after her but I got something. Its better than my Gryphonwing Bow so until I get something better this one will serve me well. Plus the damage range is 70-71. Reliable numbers there ;)

It looks very standard, cant be arsed taking a screenshot of it.. Its not that good either, I use it only for the +10 shadow resist. Will use the quest reward from the demitria quest when I get it tho

This dropped tonight.
Not very impressive given the circumstances.

I currently (Level 58 Hunter) use a Hurricane bow for PvE and a Blackcrow crossbow for PvP. Both bows are superior to this in my opinion for their respective uses.

Don't get me wrong; it is not a bad bow overall in the scheme of things, but if you consider the level requirements, the location, the fact that this is a drop from a boss, other decent bows available (Especially the Gorewood from a quest reward for something that needs to be done in the same zone as this dungeon) - then you are left feeling a tad disappointed.

Got this last night during my first jaunt into Strat UD. Fun instance, though I didn't get anything but this out of the night. Considering I have Bloodseeker, it's just been used to cap my Bow skill in case I get something worthwhile.

It'll probably end up getting DE'd.
