Remember, you do not need to have all three items yourself to get the mount. You can bring along another warlock in the party and they can use their items -- saving you a bunch of gold. However, it is standard procedure to pay the warlock for use of the items. Most commonly the price is about 50g.

Because of the fact that it is reusable, you can get a warlock to help you with your own epic mount quest to save some money.

Warlocks are now able to train their Epic ground mount. This item is obsolete as you no longer need to do the quest for the mount.

I'm curious as to whether or not this still works, would be rather cool to see this again after so many years.

Is there anything to do with this once you have done your mount quest?

Or do you just destroy it?
