The beauty of grenades is that you can cast them while moving. Other explosives such as dynomite require one to stand still. In pvp, the more you move the better. Thorium grenades are more expensive than iron grenades but the extra damage is great.

Iron grenades are the best thing ever, you can cast em while moving as he said, and they so decent dmg (~300) and are extremely cheap. 3 sec stun priceless!

I'd also reccomend them for Paladins, gives you the perfect oppertunity to deal a good bit of damage and the stun almost always allows you to get a heal off. If you're HoJ, Repentance, or bubble is down, this is the perfect item to help you get that heal off that can save you.

I just tried them against 70s today.

100% success so far.

Edit- Had one fizzle out of 10-15 throws so far.

Yes, you can walk, jump, and everything exept casting. I found those very usefull for stunting people in PvP for bandadge or just getting away a litle clearing combat.

Will damage interrupt the stun?

The stun from my iron grenades interrupts from damage. :(

The incapacitate effect is a short duraton SAP.

One of the main benefits I find is in closing distance with casters in PVP and stopping those pesky mages form getting away....they can escape from stun , but not from sap...

They accept donations after you have a "Craftsman Writ", these are one of the donations. In exchange for the donations you get Insignias (Dawn & Crusade), these you can exchange for goodies. You need 20 gernades to fill the order.

This item available from TRAINER now.
It used to be a recipe. I suspect they changed it with BC or 2.0 because the cap is much higher now.

how far do these babies throw? i know its ALOT mroe than 40 yards for sure. somewhere near 100?
