This is the Normal version of the Vestments of the Faceless Shroud. The Heroic and Raid Finder versions don't seem to have a "set" page on Wowhead yet, but I'll update this if they get one.

Right now, the Head piece is weakest for Demonologists, while the Shoulders are weakest for Affliction and Destruction. Affliction and Destruction players can swap the shoulder piece for Mosswrought Shoulderguards. However, Demonologists will probably be using all five pieces, since Hood of Hidden Flesh seems to be unobtainable at this time.

Since every socket is either red or yellow, the set conveniently allows you to match every socket bonus and gain a benefit from doing so. It would be a DPS loss if you were to place a Brilliant Queen's Garnet in either of the yellow slots, so a Reckless Lava Coral is preferred.

The 2pc fixes an issue with our guardian's cooldown (and adds DPS, of course). The 4pc gives you a reason to bother casting Soulburn in Affliction spec, and makes it more rewarding to do so in Demo/Destro. Assuming 1/5th uptime (45 second cooldown + 5 sec delay, 10 second uptime) and 12,500 Spell Power, you'd get around 250 Spellpower with this proc. Demonologists can expect a lower uptime (~1/6th, 208sp), since they will have to wait for Metamorphosis/cooldowns before using the proc. However, once cooldown stacking becomes less influential (MWC gets replaced), the proc can be used on cooldown for all three specs.

Lastly, for anyone who doesn't know, the Meta Gem you'd use is Burning Shadowspirit Diamond, meaning the red sockets in this gear will satisfy the meta just fine.

Set piece drops in Dragon Soul:

Morchok - Normal / Heroic: No tokens. LFR: Small chance of random token.
Warlord Zon'ozz - Gloves
Yor'sahj the Unsleeping - Legs
Hagara the Stormbinder - Shoulders
Ultraxion - Chest
Warmaster Blackhorn - Helm
Spine of Deathwing - No tokens on any difficulty. Trinkets and non-set armor.
Madness of Deathwing - No tokens on any difficulty. Weapons.

In Normal and Heroic difficulty, only the one listed boss will drop the corresponding tokens.

In LFR difficulty, the one listed boss is the main source of tokens, but all of the first six (Morchok through Warmaster Blackhorn) bosses have a smaller chance of dropping a different token. For example, LFR Yor'sahj mostly drops leg tokens, but has a chance to drop shoulder, chest, leg, and helm tokens.
