With your home location in a good place, you might be able to change the order a bit.
For example, I had my home location in the scyer inn in shadowmoon valley so I did that part in reverse (going to shatt instead of from shatt). All of them can probably be taken in under 2 hours.

Note: If you're doing all of these the same day, I recommend doing an AV afterwards to get the G.N.E.R.D Rage achievment. The candy disappears in 24 hours so you gotta do it fast!

It's worth noting that doing these achievements is handy if you're after the Seeker title, as each Candy Bucket you open counts towards your total.

You can still complete these quests if you are hated with Goblin Reputations, as the quest only involves clicking on the barrel to advance. However, I would advise that you corpse hop (without gear) to the proper location.

As lvl 68 I got 6000 xp per bucket! Seems to scale with level though (just tried with a lvl 46 and got 2850 xp). So well worth the trip for both the achievements and for xp :)

Edit: Theres 47 buckets = 282000 xp at lvl 68

This is while worth the time as for at level 70 you get 3g 75s for every bucket. so when you done this achievement you'll have a lot of gold which is nice =P

For those that are looking to get some XP out of their chars (should they be below level 80) and want to get the Horde Candy Buckets in Northrend too, then check these out. Even though the Northrend buckets aren't part of the achievement it might be worth your while nonetheless even if you're running short of a few bits of candy for your achievements.

I've also noticed on my level 73 rogue that you don't get any gold with picking these up, just the candy - just be aware of this.

Seems like they are finally adding an achievement for doing the ones in Northrend (Finally) and since Blizz doesn't want to slack they added also one for the Cataclysm places.

Ahem....not Ner'zhul, but Gul'dan. Ner'zhul was a "good" shaman, due to that he got asskicked by Kil'Jaeden and transformed in the Lich King.shaman

Wrong...ish. Ner'zhul was good, sorta at the beginning but then sold out the orcs to Kil'Jaeden. Then he had a change of heart, for a little while and was kinda good. Then he opened the portals on Draenor and well, changed his mind back to lusting for power, screw everyone else. Then Kil'Jaeden caught him up and made him into the Lich King, not because he was a "good" guy, but because he had failed at his mission and Kil'Jaeden still wanted to use him as a tool.

As far as Gul'dan, well he was dead long before Draenor was destroyed, ripped to shreds by demons in Sargeras' tomb back on Azeroth. That's why when Ner'zhul decided to open the portals on Draenor, one of the artifacts he needs to get a hold of is the skull of Gul'dan.

Completing a single Trick or Treat quest awards 8g 27s. Completing this achievement will give you a total of 578g 9s.

If you feel like doing Tricks and Treats of Northrend and Tricks and Treats of the Cataclysm you will get 314g 26s.

So, completing all Trick or Treat quests will net you 893g 16s.

There are a bunch of unlisted Candy Buckets on Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms.

This is one of easiest methods of gaining quick guild rep. Of course if you are lvl 85 with a 280 (or better yet 310%) flying mount.
Combined with the Renowned Guild Tabard, i got about 90% of max rep that I can get in this week from doing this and counterparts from Northrend and Cataclysm

Made an insane amount of gold from this achievement. Net profit for completion @ level 85 was: 578 gold. ( I have 4 85's)

You will earn sightly more if you don't use the Flight masters like I did.

Also got a 10% rep bonus from the " A time to build up" daily.

Bottom line: worth doing even if you're not after the title! Hope this is helpful =)

Grol'dom Farm in Northern Barrens is not labeled on the map and there is no flight point to it so for those wanting to know where it is..... go about half way between The Crossroads and Far Watch Post and then go north of the road where you see the tiny icon for a building on the map.

A handy thing to have in your bags is Hallow's End Pumpkin Treat, if you get tricked (40sec cc) from the candybucket, eat one and you will get a new disguise that overrules the one from the candybucket. This new disguise can be removed if you wish.
Hallow's End Pumpkin Treat are sold by Rachelle Gothena outside the Broken Tusk Inn (valley of strenght) in Orgrimmar, you need to have completed Hallow's End Treats for Spoops!, if you havnt she will only sell normal candy.
They stack to a 100, should be enough that even those who are hated by rng wont run out before they are done by the achivs.

I've created a guide add-on for GuideLime for all three of the Tricks and Treats of Azeroth Achievements for the Horde (Alliance in progress). Both GuideLime and my guide can be downloaded free off of CurseForge: Guidelime: GD's Guides to WOTLK - Tricks and Treats of Azeroth.

It'll route you with an arrow, waypoints, directions, as well as QoL items like a button to open candy as well as route you through, what I found to be, the most efficient way through all three continents.
