It shows that you need to complete the quest as well as run the instance. I just tried it without getting the quest and once I had downed the end boss I got the achievement. Just wanted to let you guys all know, may save a headache. Granted I did complete this as a 75 NE hunter, not sure if faction would have anything to do with it.

How to get there:
If you're planning on doing this and RFK, I suggest doing RFK first as it is quicker to get back out of.

- To get to the RFD instance, follow the path that leads away from the Southern Gold Road at 45.0, 89.0 in the Barrens.
- Head as directly southeast as you can until you see what looks like a bone structure that is the start of a tunnel, at 48.9, 93.9. Follow this tunnel and you'll see the instance portal ahead.
- Once inside, turn right a few times and you'll find yourself following a path that spirals anti-clockwise up to Amnennar, who you should kill!

- Note that while the mobs here are weak on their own, there are lots of them and several will stun, root, slow or otherwise annoy you, so if you're not 80 you probably shouldn't try running all the way to the end without stopping to kill a few.
