This is probably one of the easiest raid achievements to get. Sartharion himself is laughably easy with only two atypical dragon tricks (the lava waves and the blazes), and of the three drakes only Shadron absolutely requires that you go through his portals (although going through Vesperon's portal to kill her eggs will make the encounter appreciably easier).

Even with a mediocre DPS group and only 8 players, we did not run into a berserk timer on any of the four bosses.

Recieved this achievement yesterday. Was quite easy even though many of us weren't optimally specced since we were doing a 25man right after. IIRC our group consisted of the following:

- Druid (Balance)
- Priest x2 (1 Holy & 1 Discipline)
- Rogue (HaT)
- Paladin (Protection)
- Warrior x2 (1 Protection & 1 Fury)
- Shaman (Elemental)

We did it quite easily, with only one death the whole entire raid due to a little carelessness. Healers were kept on their toes, but not necessarily overwhelmed. Our prot warrior would tank the drakes with the disc priest healing him, while our prot pally, dps and holy priest would go through the portals to take on adds.

During Sartharion, prot pally and rogue stayed on boss while everyone else took care of the elementals.

Notice that it says "fewer than 9" so u cannot do it 9 man. 8 is max

I ran OS in a group of only 7, and did not get this achievement. I'm not sure why, but I do have one theory:
The group I was in was trying for the 3 drake achievement (we had 10 people, great heals, good dps, and decent tanking). After 3 or 4 tries one healer, one dps and one tank left, so we decided to just go around and kill each drake, then take Sarth down the good old-fashioned way. Now all those who had left the group had left the instance, but it is possible that, because we attempted to kill Sarth with more than 8 people in the group (even though we killed only trash with a full group, and were not saved to the instance until after those people left) the raid registered as having 10 people, and thus did not give us the achievement.

tl;dr:
If you're shooting for this achievement specifically, it would seem that you must not attempt to kill sarth or any drake (and maybe trash) with more than 8 people.

It's easy one.

Done it right now, in party was:
2x mages
1x DK tank
1x pala healer
1x pala DPS
1x Hunter
2x priest healers

Just kill one by one, no wipes- easy and funny- aaa and all dps was 3,2-3,7 k dps

I just two manned this to get the achievement.

Our group consisted of myself (a Holy Priest) and an assasination rogue both item level 348+.

It was mostly just tank and spank for each pull. The only pull that we had to do something different was when fighting Shadron. When he put up his shield the rogue went through the portal to kill the adds while I picked up Shadron and kept myself alive.

Other than that the fights are just like normal. Don't stand in void zones and don't get hit by firewalls. As long as you pay attention this is no problem and alot of fun!

We just tried for this achievement while do OS3D for the mount. Turns out the drakes won't fly down if the Sarth is dead. We killed the boss and the first drake, but the other 2 stayed up. Just a warning if you are trying to do both at the same time. Probably let drakes come down, then kill Sarth, then drakes for achieve in that order.

Doing OS 3drake with 8 Ppl While Killing ALL of the drakes before sarth during the encounter Kill also get you this achievement

You can actually do this and the 3 drakes achievment at the same time, just pull Sarth then do not kill him until all 3 drakes have spawned and died. Of course this drags out the fight a bit but you get an extra achievment with it as well :)

I don't know if this already mentioned/known but i will post it anyway.
Today we did a os10 run, we let all drakes alive for the +3D run, we engaged Sartharion but we didn't attacked him, we waited for each drake to come down and once he was down and active we killed him and YES he counted for and the second drake came down, we killed him and he counted too so did the third drake, finally we killed Sartharion and we also got the achievement and he dropped the mount.
