If you are in the middle of the Therazane quests, the Temple of earth in Deepholm is phased (after this quest La pietà di Therazane). The portal to Stormwind is gone and so is the fire. Finish the quests (up till this one Il trono di pietra), and it will all reappear again.

You can use the TomTom addon and put these lines in a simple macro that will show you all the points with (H) for Horde and (A) for Alliance.

Oddly the faction quests start and end immediately at a Flame Warden, but the neutral quests start at a Flame Guardian and end at a nearby Earthen Ring Bonfire.
