I saw someone else do it and it seemed really hard.
Until I did it myself... Flapping the wings is just a matter of timing it and once you get to know it (after like 10 flaps) it's really easy.
So it's an easy obtainable pet.

I wonder if the Chirping Box reward gives you the Jouster that you didn't originally choose in the first quest.

I completed this on the PTR earlier today and it does give you the second pet!

Confirmed on PTR, the Chirping box has the MiniJouster you didn't get originally. (I picked gold, so got the blue one)

They seem to have fixed the mechanics a bit. I absolutely loathed this quest when I got my first jouster, but the flap mechanism seems a lot more responsive now and I completed it with no problems.

confirmed for live 4.2....you get the opposite pet of the one you already have.

if you have Blue Mini Jouster you will open your box and be rewarded Gold Mini Jouster....or vice versa

check your mailbox after you have completed the achivement!

Don't open the box if your inventory is full! I just did and it resulted it me not getting anything, the box opened and I received error message 'Inventrory full'. The pet you are missing isn't looted, it's created, thus the contain of this box when it's opened is lost and required a GM to retrieve it for you!

I think this achievement title is a reference to The Daily Show's Resident Expert John Hodgman and his "You're Welcome" segments. The opening title of which states "Global warming: Solved. Energy Crisis: Averted. Superviruses: Cured. Sasquatches: Captured."

My question is this, Is this a rotating daily? Is this something I have to do so many of something else, or opens after I turn in 150 marks? I am still working on my first group of 150 and have not seen this quest yet.

Has anyone noticed that if you have the quest giver targeted as you're trying to go through the portal again, it won't let you through?

I'm surprised not to see this here. This quest is essentially a three dimensional version of the classic arcade game "Joust." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Ga2Dtkg92I

It's pretty accurate, right down to the tricky controls.

The title is based off the "Pterodactyl" boss in the game Joust, who was a real big pain in the butt to down because you had to hit him EXACTLY in the mouth with your lance, or else he'd kill you. It brings me traumatic memories of fighting that beast 25 years ago!

It takes you 10 days to complete this achievement. If you started to level up in Mount Hyjal, according to the leveling speed on your character, you can get this achievement before you hit Level 85.
