At first, this seemed to be completly uncontrolable, but in fact, this is not too hard when done right.
While still in mid-air, turn your charakter (using your mouse of course!) to face the center of the trampoline, and press your move-forward button and/or both mouse buttons. Remember, you don't have to hit the "bounce spot" at once, you have a very short grace period during which you can move towards it without resetting the counter (to show the counter, simply track the achievement), so keep your forward button pressed while landing and immediately move to the center of the trampoline.
While this still involves a certain degree of luck, you are much more likely to stay on the trampoline that way.

Edit: Some people found it easier to do this while being mounted. So, if you have any difficulties to reach the "bounce spot" in time, try to use a ground or flying mount for this. Personally, I preferred to do this without a mount, but hey - whatever floats your boat :)

Also, this achievement is currently bugged. After you complete the quest Aessina's Miracle, it seems to be impossible to make more than one consecutive bounce. Apparently, this issue is fixed on the patch 4.0.6 PTR.

I just did it on my flying mount.
Tryed lots of time without it and failed around 10 jumps, but on the mount I did it on the first try.

This seems to be bugged if you try this after the major phasing change happens in Hyjal.

Before I was able to attempt it just fine, but now I can't get more than one jump.

ETA: Got a reply from Blizzard GM and was told that they had many reports on this issue and are currently investigating it.
So right now your options for getting this are to either complete it pre-phasing or wait until this gets fixed.

ETA x 2: As of 4.0.6 this bug is fixed and you can get the achievement post phasing.

Being mounted seems to help some, but there is still a huge amount of luck involved in this. If you bounce up too high, you're likely to miss the grace period before you land. If you bounce too far, you can land off the platform or get stuck on the edges. Even if neither of those happens, if you're not mounted you can fall over and be stunned when you land, which will almost always make you miss the grace period unless you land in the center of the pad.

Oh, and sometimes the pad just doesn't trigger at all. In all, this is currently the most frustrating achievement I've attempted.

I believe there is a bug, where if you have completed a certain quest, the trampoline no longer works properly. Hence some people saying the cheev is easy and others having great difficulty.

Tested on multiple alts, and does appear to be a phasing issue...

Here's how I did it and what I found,

As suggested this is indeed easier whilst on your *ground* mount. I tried with a flying mount and found that sometimes it would not land and I would miss the jump.

To gain the achievement you must be roughly in the center of the trampoline each time the bounce happens (you will see a small dust blast when it does.) You must do this 20 times in a row.

If you miss the bounce (dust blast happens before you're in place) the counter resets.

The best way to do this is on a ground mount. Why? Because you will need that extra speed to get to the center of the trampoline before the next blast.

Mount up and move to roughly the center of the trampoline. Set your camera for a bird's eye view looking directly down on yourself, this will help you orient.
When the first bounce happens look at the direction you move (Tip: You will bounce in the direction that you last moved. So if you moved forward you will bounce forward. If you strafed left you will bounce left. This becomes random after one bounce so long as you do not move again.)
Spin around so that you face the center of the trampoline again. When you land immediately run towards the center. If you did not bounce that far then move only slightly so that you'll be propelled forward on the next bounce.
Repeat this until you have your achievement!

A few notes:

Occasionally you may find that you've missed your bounce for no apparent reason. This may be a bug. I found it happened more often when the trampoline was crowded (5+ people on it at the same time.)

A bounce blast occurs for each player on the trampoline. If there are multiple people on the trampoline don't worry, your bounce won't occur until after your feet have touched the ground.

Taking damage will not reset your bounce counter, if you take damage that's fine just make sure you get to the center of the trampoline before the next bounce.

I recommend tracking this achievement whilst attempting it. Seeing the counter lets you know if you're doing it right or wrong.

The trampoline is located in Hyjal at location 13, 33. I tried the dragon, and just my character, but my mammoth is what made it super easy. Try it out :) first try done!

i noticed that when i was doing the quests next to the trampoline i had some sort of buff, and had no problems doing the jumping several times. but i didnt notice the achievement before i was done questning in the zone, and now i have the same issue as everyoneelse - only 1 jump

This achievement is not bugged. It can be done if you are phased but you need to be aware of others that are not phased. If somebody is doing the bear rescue quest, it throws off the trampoline and makes you miss your bounces. If you see bears shooting out from the sides of the trampoline, just wait until they're gone and try again when the trampoline isn't "in use". Hope this helps.

I completed this on the 11th... Wasn't a problem, just used the flying mount advice here and did it first time.

Sometimes it didn't land, just hovered a few yards above the trampoline, so I just flew down and bounced up again. I kept turning when bouncing so I was facing the centre. If I hit the sides I would run to the middle and it would bounce me again. I'm assuming that like the Northrend mines achievement there is some grace time between jumps so this worked perfectly for me.

When I attempted this I had done some phasing in the zone, not the regrowth one though. I had also done the bears out of trees quest too.

I found that holding down both mouse buttons, while pressing 'X" on a flying mount, made me land each time fine and made it pretty easy to stay in the center. Just 'aim' down for the mat, and X keeps you lowered in case your mount is ornery.

I didn't look at this achievement until I was already passed hyjal and into Deepholm... Is this just a one time quest that you can never repeat or is there a daily for it?

Seems they would give you more than one opportunity to do it than just the one time...?

While many of these tips may be helpful, I believe some of them are misleading.

1. Definately do it before phasing until this has been reported fixed.
2. Birds eye view of your camera is a must.
3. Pushing forward after landing on the trampoline actually resets the counter.
4. Damage has a tendency to reset the counter, on the very high jumps, if you're doing the described method below, you should not take damage when you land.
5. You need to actually turn your character while in the air so that it is always facing the center of the trampoline before you land. The reason for this is that you bounce slightly forward in the direction you are facing due to trampoline physics as you go from side to side (it projects you forward). If you can manage to always have your character facing the center of the trampoline when you land then you will hop back n forth, with no issues, you must be very careful on the very high jumps and the very short jumps as YOU MUST BE FACING THE CENTER OF THE TRAMPOLINE. I cannot stress this more. You should not ever have to press move forward after landing.
6. I did not try doing this on a mount of any sort. Before figuring this out I was at for about 30 minutes, after figuring out this method it took me 2 tries.

Here's some tips how to do this achievement:

1. You dont have to press jump button to bounce. If you succeed to land you will bounce automaticly.

2. When you are in mid-air, turn your character to face the center of trampoline.

3. When you land immediately run towards the center. You have a very short time to move before you will bounce again.

Just repeat this and you'll get your achievement ;)

really cant understand this achieve... im standing in the middle with my ground mount ( after i read some of your advices ) and i track down the achieve to see what im doing wrong.. well...i think im doing everything wrong... after the first jump the achieve tracks 1/20 , while im in the air it drops to 0/20.... then, sometimes i cant get another jump and im rushing to the middle of the trampoline after the jump... help? =D

Looks like this is currently bugged (17-Dec).

Did this on the 16-Dec on one toon in about 2 minutes. Have spent nearly an hour on the 17-Dec and can't get above 16 - something has changed to make this nearly impossible. In the time I have been here over 30 people have tried, and not one person has got the achievement.

Also the bug that if you progress past the rescuing the bears quest the trampoline doesn't work is still in effect. So if you give up and progress, it is currently not possible to do this achievement.

As far as doing it after finishing the quest, several people in my guild said they got it after finishing.

Don't know if it still bugged after you complete the quest line but the mount is a lot better. I stayed on the trampoline without it and it still reset. With the flying mount i think you can force your self down faster because sometimes you jump up high or sometimes do a double jump that doesn't count?

Confirmed, this achievement is NOT working after you finish the quest lines in Mount Hyjal.

I have been trying to get this achievement to my main which i leveled fast and didnt care about achievements after completing all quests in Mount Hyjal.

So i logged my alt (which hasnt done ANY quests in Mount Hyjal) and got the achievement on the first try. Waiting for a response from a GM weither this is intended or not.

Tried this today on two separate toons:
Level 80 Death Knight: Was on the quest to rescue the bears from the trees, so I was in the quest phase zone. It took a few tries, and I eventually got it. If other players are on the quest as well, the bears being tossed onto the trampoline may screw up your bounce rotation. Was on the flying mount to complete this.

Level 85 Priest: Completed Hyjal, and in the final phasing (so the bear rescue quest is complete). Tried for 45 minutes before giving up, and all combinations of tips given by above posters. No luck with anything. It either bounces me up for 1/20, and then resets when I starts my second bounce, or it doesnt register that I am on the trampoline, and I could wait there for at least a minute with no response.

Guess I'll have to wait and see what the problem is. Right now, going with the phasing issue >.<

I thought using a small mount would make this easier. It did not. After mounting Traveler's Tundra Mammoth, I got it on the first try.

I attempted this achievement this morning on Whisperwind. The character I attempted this with has completed all of the Mount Hyjal zone. I attempted it

(b) character on Swift Mistsaber (Ground Mount)
(c) character on Striped Frostsaber (Ground Mount)
(d) character on Stormpike Battle Charger (Ground Mount)
(e) character on Black War Mammoth (Ground Mount)
(f) character on Celestial Steed (Ground/Flying Mount)

no amount of trying ever registered more than 1 completed bounce. I will wait until this is fixed before attempting this again.

I held my "x" key down thru the entire thing. My mount barely rose off the trampoline and moved only slightly.

As a druid, just let it throw you up, quickly go into Flight Form(any form should work, I just did it with Flight), and quickly switch out of it again, that makes you fall back down, and you avoid weird mid-air reset bugs.

I got to 30 bounces this way (counted myself after I received the achievement).

Jump on the trampoline at the halfway marks (where it looks like the trampoline has had two triangles cut out of it). During each bounce, turn your character toward the triangle on the far side. DO NOT MOVE YOUR CHARACTER ON THE GROUND. You should bounce back & forth between the triangles, easily staying within the bounce range, & receive the achievement quickly.

I finished it as just me, and I may have been lucky, but when I had landed, I stopped pressing as soon as I could, and I think that may have kept me from moving as far..

This was quite simple. I moved into the center of trampoline hit my space bar and used my mouse to face the middle. After a few jumps I simply took my hand off the mouse and she jumped all by herself. 1-20 effortlessly.

I tried doing the "press forward in the air" tactic to no avail. What I found (after much cursing) is that the most consitent bounces are achieved by going side to side on the narrowest section of the tramp. I was turning to always face the middle, but not sure this afffected things much. Using this method I was able to bounce 39 times consecutively. Good luck.

Surprised no one's mentioned this yet but...

As a Druid, you can get this with Flight Form extremely easily. A bounce will cancel Flight Form, but you can go back into it as soon as you bounce. Simply fly back down to the trampoline (e.g. by holding X) for the next bounce. Rinse & repeat 19x.

Counter never goes above one, even if there is more than one "bounce". I have completed Hyjal and the bear-tossing quest.

I have tried dismounting in the air, jumping from the ground onto the trampoline, jumping from one of the 3 wooden posts onto the trampoline and dismounting from a ground mount (armoured bear, fossilized raptor). Moving after bouncing or changing the direction I face either while or after bouncing has no effect that I can determine.

None of these variations ever gives any results other than my first sentence.

ok i wanna confirm this achieve is bugged.

ok if u have just got to this quest where the trampoline is do this achieve first, as if u wait and get phased u wont be able to get the achieve until blizzard fix the bug.

i was on my lock and was on red bar so found the achieve very hard but when my connection was good found achieve pretty easy to do in about 3 mins. so 1 make sure u have a good connection. 2 keep trying as it is more luck than skill with this achieve but if u perserver u will get the achieve. after completeing with my lock i tried with my druid who was phased and sadly it was bugged pls blizz sort the bug out.

I have tried everything to get this achievement, I have read all the posts.......Land Mount, Flight Mount, Even Dieing from a Lengthly fall to bounce on this thing....I can bounce MAX 4 times and the Tracker still only Tracks 1 or worse yet 0......I have tried using the mouse to move, arrows keys to move all kinds of stuff.........

I have the Achievement and Did all the Quests in Hyjal.........should this mean something? NO! but I think it does cause a guildie of mine just took 2 of his alts BACK to BACK who have NOT done any quests in Hyjal and just received the achievment........(Other than my spelling) what could i be doing wrong!

Just to point out what's going on once more, since several people trying to explain it got downrated (which happens slightly too often lately)...

After having done a quest (I fail to remember which one) the area phases, the NPCs will have left the area there and all what remains is this trampoline. At the moment, there appears to be a bug, that glitches the trampoline after this phasing, making it impossible to get this achievement. If you really want it, I recommend doing this achievement before finishing the quest chain here. Your level doesn't matter, I've recently done this on a level 1 alt and also on my level 85 hunter alt.

I am sure Blizzard will fix this soon™, so people who don't have this one and have done all quests in MH, will have to practise some patience. But hey, there's alot more to do then jumping on a trampoline :]

I did this a couple times according to Tarvos's post above, and once I put the character on the mount, found it much easier. The mount doesn't move as much when bounced, or get turned around. I guess more contact surface to trigger a bounce.

If you're having trouble, try using mount.

I just completed this achievements and the easiest way to do it is to be mounted on a flying mount, that way, incase you get abit out of it you just fly back on it again.

Tho it took me a couple of tries. (But not more then 5 minutes of tries)

I belive that if you have lower health you bounce low more offten. i tryed it with full health and had the high bounces more than when i had like 40% health

I'm pretty sure this has something to do with latency, as it's only the very high bounces that are resetting my bounce count, regardless of whether i land dead center or just a bit off. if you have more than 400ms im sure this isn't possible to do at the moment.

EDIT: I went to a friends house where my latency was about 200ms and I did it first time. Couldn't do it no matter how many times i tried on my slower connection but who knows.

A note or two. It didn't really provide many benefits but a Shaman can do this in Ghost Wolf. I tried it on my Kodo (biggest mount this character has), turbo trike, and flying mount. The one thing I noticed about the bronze drake... When you go to land from the first bounce, you pause just above the trampoline and "wing flap" (meaning the drake wont fall all the way down).

Just completed this a little bit ago after reading all the input. I think the easiest way to do this is click-to-move to the center if the trampoline... You don't need to rotate or anything, and click while you're in mid-air. I was mounted while doing this, so unsure if that really matters or not, I'll edit later after attempting on another toon without a mount.

Edit: Not quite sure why this got downrated. I've received this achievement on 8 different toons doing it this way it and it seems easier than anything else, I've even had my wife and a couple friends do it the same way and they also said it was much easier than what they were trying in the past. To follow up on my original post though, it does seem better to me mounted on a ground mount than on foot.

Here's my 2 cents worth.

I tried this for an hour.

I tried this on my chopper and my brewfest kodo (among other ground mounts) because I thought the extra length might help. It didn't.

Crusader aura also did not help.

I got to 19 several times and landed in the hit zone but the counter reset, it's very frustrating.

I noticed after a while that some bounces were disarming me- I thought that was interesting because there was no debuff- so I took that as a clue.

I "equipped" my naked set from the equipment manager (meaning I took absolutely everything off) and got it on try #2.

Also, naked I took less damage (500 and 2k hits vs 10k and 13k fully armored).

Give it a shot both ways and see if your results support my theory. Mind you, I'm not saying it can only be done naked, but for my experience it was extremely helpful.

I didn't even know this achievement existed until I flew down and landed on the trampoline while questing, then got up to use the restroom, leaving my character sitting on the trampoline. When I came back, my guild was telling me grats on the near impossible achievement, and I was confused. Scrolling up, I saw the achievement, so I came to do it on one of my other characters too, who got it on the second try. I never really had to run any, the trampoline seemed to always bounce me toward the middle by itself. Unfortunately, one of my characters had already gone through the big phase quest, so I guess he'll have to wait until the patch. Good luck!

i was able to get it up to 18 JUMPS without doing ANYTHING i didnt move the character at all

**update** I just got this acheivement a few seconds ago and i didnt move my character i didnt mount or anything it seems the best thing to do is let your character do the bouncing and just watch but i HAVE discovered that if you land and dont bounce you have 1 second to move back onto the trampoline and start bouncing again and the acheivement wont reset the counter

Confirmed fix as of patch 4.0.6 today. I just did it not even 5 minutes ago and I have already completed all the quests in the zone as far as the Mount Hyjal questing achievement is concerned. I didn't need a mount so I assume the achievement seems to have become increasingly easier. Got it my first try.

I just got this achievement on main who has completed the Hyjal quests. Took a lot of tries though. Simple tactic is to face to the middle of the trampoline while in the air and move forward once landed if its far from middle.

1 attempt went to 15 bounces and i landed to middle like should but it didn't bounce me up, resetting it to 0. Other fails simply flew me too far from middle even if i faced exactly the center.

It is working now, but I must admit I struggle to get beyond the 11-16 range. There is a really high bounce somewhere inthat range that always seems to have me landing at an edge, and I can't seem to avoid it.

Any tips on how (if at all) I should be moving (WASD style)?

Best done with a small flying mount, like the Hippogryph, Wyvern, Gryphon or Chopper. Keep pushing X (or the button that is bound to fly your mount vertically down) because if you end up hovering above the trampoline the counter will be reset. Pretty hard and requires some patience, but you'll get it eventually.

Confirmed that it is no longer bugged. Also, plenty easy to do without a mount, just change your camera angle so you're looking mostly straight down onto your character, use your keys to turn left or right and your mouse to go forward.

I also recommend putting it on your objective tracker so you know if you've messed up and its been reset.

Easy way of getting this achievement:

Simply hold down the Right Mouse key and keep your camera pointed towards the direct center of the trampoline. It'll help your character bounce in that given direction.

First time I tried not moving my character or touching any controls like others had suggested and it didn't work. Second time kept her facing towards the center and I got it. For those of you having trouble don't forget to track the achievement so you know how many bounces you have left and if you fail you know what bounce it went wrong on. I've had other characters actually look like they've bounced but they didn't. Trampoline and achievement is still working as of 2-16-2011.

Just did this using my flying mount. While bounced in mid-air I was able to move directionally, yet still "bounce" up and down with no problem. Got my 20 bounces easy that way. I tried it unsuccessfully on my feet and on my ground mount. I also followed the advice above and had my camera pointed straight down, and when at the highest part of the bounce, used the WASD keys to direct my flying mount towards the center. Simple.

to be truthful i couldnt get this achiev on my main, i could on my alt and after an hour i gave up and decided to head back to orgrimmar, and i saw a raid for os3d 10man i went in as the lowest lvl tank and guess what i won the black drake.

This achievement is not even remotely difficult. No tricks required. Just don't go back to the very center of the trampoline, ever. I'll try to illustrate.

The jumps aren't as high and you don't fall to the edge and lose your counter. It's easy to do, no speed increase required. Took me all of 2 attempts once I realized this.

I used my flying mount and held down the X button (Sit/Landing) and used it to keep going down faster... I recommend using a drake because they look funny while bouncing xD ( My poor drake xD)

Please note, while this has been fixed, there *is* a small gotcha that will reset your counter. If you get one of the VERY high bounces off center, you may time out before you land again and slide in. In other words, your margin of error is used up in the jump. I don't know if there's anything you can do for that, just keep trying.

I just completed this today. No one was around, which made it easier, and I have already completed all my quests for Hyjal. I found that using a birds eye view is key, but also, once you're in that view, DO NOT use your keyboard to move. Instead use your right mouse key to turn your character and move if you think you're going to jump too far. I tried this many times, but never on a mount. My highest stack was 10 before I was able to jump to 20. It takes some time to become familiar with it, but is doable.

Basically, I positioned myself dead center on the trampoline with the long way going left to right, and just used "Q" and "E" to shift left or right if I bounced too far.

I was having trouble with mouse-turning the camera since my mouse is messed up, so I found what I think is an even easier way to do this.

I started at one end on the longer axis of the trampoline, and oriented my camera so the longer axis was parallel to the horizon. From this view, I looked like I was on the left end of the trampoline. I strafed towards the other end (to the right, from my POV) of the trampoline until I was just a little short of the middle of the trampoline, and then waited for the bounce (not much of a wait, it's more or less instant, you might not have to stop at all on the first bounce). My momentum pretty much carried me in a straight line, so I ended up landing somewhat right of center after the first bounce. Once I landed, I strafed to the left until I was again just a little short of middle, and waited for the bounce. This time I landed somewhat to the left of center. Rinse and repeat 20 times.

The only real pitfall is that you can overshoot if you simply hold strafe until the trampoline bounces you - the first couple of times I tried that, and I would end up on the opposite side of center from where I started before the bounce. Even if you land smack in the middle of the trampoline, there seems to be a slight delay before the next bounce, so it's important to land off-center so you can get momentum from strafing, but also to stop strafing just a little short of center so you don't get bounced all the way to the opposite edge on a high bounce.

Long story short, start at one end of the long axis of the trampoline, strafe to the center + bounce to the other end of the trampoline, repeat 20 times. No camera-maneuvering, no mounts, just strafe left and right at predictable intervals.

This is easy sauce. I tried the tips in these comments and they do work, but i made it 17 and accidently landed on the wood part of the trampoline and it reset the counter. So, i tried something WAY easier. I just jumped on the trampoline and never touched any buttons on my keyboard or mouse. My toon jumped back and forth a little form the trampoline effects, but not enough to be concerned. I did all 20 jumps in a row 1st try doing it that way. No work involved.

What I found was the easyiest thing to do, is to get on your flying mount and make sure you're flying exactly over the middle. This sounds harder than it actually is, since it's not some vague point, but right between the two parts of the trampoline without any fur. Just fly above it, dismount, and you just got your achievement.

I did this today on my druid. I tried several times in caster form but kept getting spun around. Then I tried it with my travel form and voila, got it on the first try. I think it might have been because the cat travel form stayed sort of stiff with legs splayed out (if you've ever tried to stuff a cat in a box you'll know what I mean) and so had little movement forward or backward. I basically landed on the sweet spot every time. I hope this helps somebody else.

What I did was Start exactly at the middle of the trampolin, and at all times stay in a straight line along the trampolin... No facing to center, just pointing camera down so i could see the "line". That is the only thing that worked for me at least.

I easily did it just now using my Traveller's Tundra Mammoth on the first go. As someone a while ago suggested, perhaps it's easier due to the large hitbox? I couldn't do it at all while not mounted. I would imagine other mammoth mounts share the same size hitbox, so give it a go!

With a flying mount, every time you are thrown into the air, fly back towards the center -- you can control movement while you are falling back down and you just want to fly down to the center.

That makes this very easy. You land, ride up to the trampoline and then every time it launches you, you use the mouse and fly back down to the center. You get there faster than "falling" gets you there, and have control of where you land. Makes it very smooth and quick. Did it in less than a minute on the first try that way.

I got this ach today.
1. I tried first unmounted, but usually got thrown to the outside edge of the trampoline around jump 10 or 11. There is a short grace period to get back to the center of the trampoline, but it is quite short. Although I was easily able to turn mid-air, I had little luck with moving forward or back until I landed.
2. I then tried on my gryphon (flying mount) and found that it was able to maneuver forward/back mid-air, but sometimes when the trampoline threw me up, the gryphon flew rather than landing for another jump.
3. I then tried my elekk (ground mount) and had the same problem as in 1.
4. I gave my gryphon another shot and this time I held down the "X" button as I did it so the gryphon wouldn't stay in the air - this time I got it on the second try.
In summary, I recommend doing it on a flying mount and using the "X" button to ensure you don't get stuck hovering.

OK, I decided to add my input to this lengthy thread.

I attempted to do this achievement at like 3am (and it was a looooong day) and I wasn't going to spend more than 5 minutes on this. After reading a few of the comments, I tried mounting and it pretty much was a fail. So being a hunter, I dismissed my pet (and companion pet) and jumped on the trampoline by myself - no mounts or any aids whatsoever. Then my mom, of all people, comes and talks to me. I left my character hopping on the trampoline and had my conversation without even touching the laptop. And low and behold, 20 consecutive jumps!

Also wanna point out, as long as you're 'sorta' on the trampoline, even if you take damage, it still counts. Just don't completely fall off.

I tried many times to get this achievement and failed with just using my own 2 feet. I then decided to mount up on my bear and give it a go. It was going better but I still came up few bounces short. So I decided to bring out my biggest mount which was the snow mammoth and I got it on my first try on that mount! I even kept going for maybe 30 more bounces. Bigger the mount the better!

Although the jumps often throw you off-center on the trampoline, they rarely (or never) throw you sideways; thus the best way to do this is to face lengthways on the trampoline (if you face widthways, you're more likely to go forward or backward off the edge.) I didn't feel like I had much control once I was in the air, but generally if you take a couple of steps towards the centre (forward or backward) the subsequent jump should propel you that way. Eventually, you get a feel for it. The achievement took me about 10 minutes using this method. :)

For me the mounts dont work, always get tossed off after 2 or 3 jumps. Doesnt matter if I was on my tundra or my drake. Another thing I noticed if you get tossed way up high, the counter resets when you land, sometimes before you land. Really annoying.

Just got this achievement.

You can do this with your flying mount. Just hold down x on the keyboard(manual fly down) and your mount won't attempt to float in the air. Got it on my first try. Flying mounts seem to have the biggest hit box (even bigger than the mammoth).

No luck required. Though I did not complete it on my first attempt I did so shortly thereafter. As your toon starts to move too far from center, simply rotate the camera or use the walk backwards command. It's not hard at all to get it. Mount or not, it's the same command.

All I did was go into my Interface - Mouse and checked Click-to-Move.
No mount and pointed my camera to birds eye view. Then just clicked on the middle. Done!

Completed this today. Read the advice of others. Using the forward movement does help and can assist in getting this achievement done. After 10-13 bounces I would start counting in your head to focus your attention on the trampoline. Also, the brimstone hounds that may aggro to you should be defeated and drug away from the tramp so they don't block any vision. I had 4 or 5 stacked by the time I completed. Also, be aware that some bounces my draw 13-16K of damage or better. The higher damage ones come when you land on the edges of the tramp and if this happens you might as well stop, heal up, and start again as there is a delay in your bounce and it starts the count over.

With my dragon it was almost impossible.

I decided to dismount, and in like 4-5 attempts I made it.

I tried using the mouse, but I got the best results when using the keyboard to control my character.

My only advice would be to try to stay in the exact center of the platform.

The funny thing was that at 14\15 a core hound attacked me, I ignored him and continued aiming to the center, and I made it, and after the achievement I did 5 more jumps and couldn't stop any more: this almost allowed the core hound to kill me, lol, it was very hard to avoid to jump after that.

Sometimes it bugs, and sometimes it sends you way off circle
I also tried on many mounts ( including heavy one Traveler's Tundra Mammoth ) but still did not do it
The first time i tried with Agrent Hippogryph i got it !

Did this for the first time and had prepared myself for having to do several attempts to get it, but it was incredibly easy. Was on a ram mount and just bounced away. My only real problem was a mob had targeted me and was draining away my hp, but luckily I completed it a couple seconds before he killed me.

Strange thing just happened. Went to do this for the fifth time ( char nr:5 ), and got the achievement after only 6-7 jumpes.
People was this time throwing bears all around me, maby these counted as bounces. Can´t see any other cause, if not just a freak happening.:)

So I tried it just using the keys. One alt succeeded. The other never did.
So I then tried using the mouse to move trick. I kept getting very high jumps which would mean it would time out and reset back to one.
Then I got attacked by one of the hounds and got off of the trampoline to deal with him. When I climbed back on I tried to get on my mount as I did I bounced. I decided to let my alt bounce without any interaction from me what so ever. She bounced the full 20 times and I got the achievement.

It seems the best way to 'win' at this is not to play at all. Move to the middle of the trampoline. Bounce once and just let your alt bounce!

I don't know if this has been nerfed but I completed this very easily. The first time I tried it i just fell off after a few bounces. Then I tried using a ground mount, and that made it impossible - I would leap off after I hit. So I adjusted my viewpoint so I was looking down from above and used my mouse to point myself towards the center and off I went. I got to about 10 bounces when a corehound wandered by and was aggroed by my pet. I figured 'so much for this' and started shooting - and kept bouncing! I killed it and targetted a sleeping one and killed that one too, got the acheivement, and kept bouncing for a few minutes.

So, its not as hard as it used to be.

Many, many attempts later I finally got this done. Have tried every trick with every mount and just no luck.. untill I used the Sea Turtle mount. From an over head veiw and a last second movement adjustment just as I landed, I was able to pull this off no problem. Seems turtles even Bounce slowly... all the way down.

I did this on my Druid today as well. I got it on the second try on travel form for the same reasons as why it works for being on a ground mount. I didnt have to worry too much about where I landed on the trampoline, as others have indicated. I switched back and forth from one form to another, just for the fun of it.

I had great delight in changing into MOONKIN form on this one! Any other druids out there, try it, its a guaranteed laugh! Moonkins spin and wave their arms with an expression of surprise, so watch it from the front :)

If you have a Mammoth mount, use it as it makes your bouncing area much larger than the any of the other mounts in the game. do not use your flying mount.

Okay, what I'm about to say might be unpopular, but I'm going to have to disagree and say that I don't believe much of the advice here really works. Maybe I'm doing it in a different patch and they've changed the way the trampoline operates, but I found that mounts, click-to-move, and tapping the forward/backward keys, and everything else did little to nothing to ensure that I stayed on.

What I did find, in my roughly 15 minutes of attempts, though, was that it seems the inner circle of the trampoline is the 'border', and you want to land with your character's 'hit box' mostly on the inside of that line. I also found that the biggest factor for the direction your character moves on the next bounce is which direction they face upon landing. Once I realized this, I completely changed my strategy.

Changing to the bird's eye view and reverting back from click-to-move, I simply forced my camera angle to be completely downward and held the right-click, so that I could quickly change the direction he faces upon landing, always making sure he was staring toward the dead center of the trampoline as possible. As a result, he always bounced roughly back at the middle.

While I tried all the strategies mentioned here at least three or four times each, this method worked for me on my first try. I think it will work for you, too.

I went to the grove to see if it is even possible to attempt - despite reading about the buggy nature of this achievement.
As currently I'm in the ghost-town phasing bug - where about 20% of Mt. Hyjal is depopulated; including this grove.
But the trampoline is actually there. (And buggy as reported in many comments here.)
My achievement progress is only able to go up to 1 with the rare very short jumps.
It's as if the achievement completely ignores bounce time and assumes you have to (with ZERO control) achieve an impossible 20 consecutive <100ms jumps. 🙄

Weirdly though, while jumping on the trampoline, random bear cubs would pop out and fall on the trampoline.
No doubt someone is doing , and a tear in the (phasing) rift is allowing me to briefly see and hear their bears. 🤣

You would think blizzard would atleast make the achievements completeable. yet this is still not doable.

Despite being heavily bugged and prone to resetting the counter for no obvious reason, this achievement currently is doable on Cataclysm Classic. However, it is very, very finnicky. Here is how I managed to get this achievement despite the game's current state:

Shift click the achievement in your achievements. The counter does properly increment now, even if very temperamental.
Angle your camera down so you can see below you to guide your bounces better.
Get on a ground only mount. For whatever reason, this makes the bounces faster and also makes you able to angle yourself and move faster.
Use your mouse to constantly keep you focused toward the center of the kodo skin trampoline.
Make sure you press both mouse buttons and or the forward key to make sure you constantly keep moving toward the center.
Do not land on the head of the kodo, as that does not count as a bounce for whatever reason (the most southern part of the trampoline).
You will find that despite all the above, there are many, many, many times where you will have a perfect run of consecutive bounces and then it will suddenly reset back to zero. Ignore this, just keep grinding at it, it is possible to do. I will upload an achievement success here, hopefully Wowhead will take it.

I recommend a ground mount (I used my Swift Forest Strider for no reason other than it's the mount I'm into right now) but I was getting it alright with just me. I am used to using the mouse buttons for forward motion however.

Word of advice: Just because you don't physically bounce right away doesn't mean it didn't count! Make sure you are tracking the achievement to count your bounces. ~~Also don't try it while drinking and watching YouTube.~~
