I finished my Sulfuras last night in thje knowledge that this achievement will be retroactive.
We didn't get the achievement.

In the achievement tab it states Requires Guild Reputation: Honored
I believe this to mean that for the Legendary you own to count you will need to get honored with your guild.

This will be to stop people just swapping around to get the achievement for other guilds but should they actually swap and stay in a guild it will eventually count towards their new home.

apparently you can get credit for this achievement even if you cant "wield" the hammer.
it is funny since my warlock does not have the personal feat for Sulfuras but he did get the achievement for the guild :p

One thing i am confused here. do we need to have the full 10m for this raid when the eye drops from Rag? or do i just need to have this in my bag/equiped and be honored? my problem is getting enough guildies to help farm old content every week.

Last tuesday I went into MC as usual, running through the bosses as usual... But then it happened. I got my second binding from Garr! I went into a state of satisfaction of wich i've never felt before.
I pressed on, looking in my bags through the entire time. Then... As I killed Ragnaros... Yeah, you geussed it right, the Eye dropped too! I bow down to the WoW-gods, and thank them.

Anyway, what I wanted to say was that, for the guild achievement, you don't need to wear the item, but for the Feat of Strength you need to be able to equip it.

http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/haomarush/a%C3%AD/simple - click on recent activity and you'll see I got both legendarys withing the time of a few hours. (sadly it wont say when I looted the binding and the eye)

Conclusion, if you're after the Guild Achievement, ANYONE in the guild can get it, if you're after the Feat of Strength, only those who CAN EQUIP the item can get it.

You do NOT need to be able to equip this item in order to get your guild the achiev (got it with my priest).
You DO need to be at least Honored with the guild.
MC is easily soloable with 80+, I clear it on my sPriest every week for the Waterlords rep, it takes me about an hour and a half. I dropped the eye twice in the last two months.

If you're too lazy to grind the mats for the hammer, you can probably find one on the Auction House if you're patient (might cost a bit, though).
