If you're having trouble discovering The Sundering (like I was), try going here. It's technically in Northern Stranglethorn but it's the only place I found that'll get you close enough.

dont fly above (too low) the sundering, it will kill you. it looks like a whirlpool. i was just passing by to do some archaeology and it killed me. it says nothing on combat log why i died, i just died. :/

Regarding The Sundering:

The location is, as said before, in Northern Stranglethorn. But no dangerous climbing is necessary. If you are in Northern Stranglethorn, just go southwest till you hit a tiny peninsula jutting out over the waterfall. From the Cape, take the road to the Crystalvein Mines, but go to the rift. At about 61, 24, there is a wide path that follows the edge of the rift into Northern Stranglethorn. Just take that and go to the peninsula described above. No clambering over rocks required.

The actual (more accurate) coordinates for crystalvein mine in CAPE of stranglethorn are 64.39, 29.80 or if you use tomtom /way 64, 29 crystalvein mine
