Thought i finished every hidden bit of quests in zone but 87/90 done... off to search more.

Shatterspear overseer drops "Overseer's Orders" which starts quest "Reason to Worry". This gave me even 1 extra to deliver to 91 quests done, and i still have that undelivered Sea turtle in the log... but now i can move on other zone.

Remember the Maw of the void pool south from Lor'danel.

Completed today, had 3 quests left over to finish up the naga hub where you face down with Queen Azshara. No surprises in this zone, just do everything in every hub. A few mobs drop an item that starts a quest - I missed the one in the old mushroom cave where you free the caged animals on my first pass. Make sure to drop into the Maw to grab that achievement also.

Still stuck at 88/90 and I've made multiple passes through the zone to try and find what I've missed but all I got was a quest that ends in ashenvale. Does anyone know of any odd hub locations that I for some reason might have missed?

Also, I've already done the overseers quest drop lol

I was missing one quest 89/90, now i went to 92/90
all i needed to do is get this quest it gives around 4 quests total, including the escort, after killing Riko'ti

If you jump into the Maw of the Void (the whirlpool thing) you go into a cool little cutscene where you warp into a sunken ruin place -- killing the named NPC drops https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=64450-- got me to 90

(p.s. will also take care of Spettri nelle tenebre)

Ok I'm 88/90 and I've done all the pick up quests and gone thru the hubs. And the beached sea turtle and Buzzbox 323 can't be turned in

Jor'kil lo Squarta Anime drops another "This item begins a quest".
Can be found in the shattervale vale cave and provies you with https://www.cuckhead.com/cata/item=46318.

Also worth to mention that this quest gives to 3x follow up quests in Lor'danel, so this should take you to your 90 quests if you are missing a few!

Can someone list the major hubs? I had done all the Darkshore quests prior to the Shattering, came back and have done every low-level quest I can find - Lor'Danel, the troll valley, the archaelogy site, the grove, etc. and all the ones those are 'connected' to. Nothing else is showing up anywhere, and I'm still only 66/90. I've got to be missing a major hub somewhere, but I don't know where. I've ridden all over the zone and just don't see anything. I'll pick up the hidden ones listed on this page so far, but it sounds like that will only get me another 3 or 4 at most. Ideas?

This zone is definitely heavily dependent on drop quests. To name a few there are:

Hellscream's Missive
Maw of the void quest
Overseer's Orders
Rit'ko's Key

Also not quite a drop quest, but definitely in a hard to find location is:

Protection quest

Which although it ends in ashenvale, it still counts towards darkshore quests

You can skip around ~60 quests in this zone if you feel like slacking.

This is how it works: when you first time start quest "The Ritual Bond" and chose one of the 3 blessings you can chose from either Moonstalker, Reindeer or Bear, each one of these quest will count toward the achievement. Now after you have chosen one of the blessings it will count as quest, then you can Abandon "The Ritual Bond" and retake it and again chose one of the blessings, repeating this around ~60 times will grant you the achievement.

I completed Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms last week with little effort except the time investment. I have to say though that Darkshore, in comparison to the Easter Kingdom zones, seems to a far fewer quests beyond the minimum Lorekeeper requirement. Most zones I've seen have 5-10 extra quests beyond the base zone Lorekeeper requirement, while Darkshore only appears to have 3 or 4. You really cannot afford to miss the drop quests that Yoshimoto mentioned above if you're working toward that achievement!

I spent an hour and a half going up and down the broken terrain of the zone before I finally realized I'd never bothered to attack the Shatterspear Overseer to get that small quest chain started.

I spend ages looking for the quests for this one and the one thing i can advise everyone is that make sure you pick up the quests from the named bosses in the areas such as Shatterspear war camp and Shatterspear vale and also the one in the maw of the void.

a friend of mine is still struggling with 89/90.

i took her around all mentioned quests but nothing comes up. she says she did all quests she was sent to and i took her to the hidden and drop quests.

any ideas?

I have beaten every quest from what I can tell with the exception of the small chain involving the emrald dream, Malfurion will not let me do the quest Emerald Dream, any suggestions?

I've been looking around for the one quest I'm missing as well (I've completed all those listed here with the exception of the Beached Sea Turtle series that seems to have been done away with when Cataclysm came out). For the other people stuck in the same position, who started after Cataclysm came out, they seem to have done away with a lot of quests in this area. As a result, looking around online, post-Cataclysm it seems like you need the Emerald Dream quest(s) from Malfurion under the vortex in order to finish this which you can only get by buying (or possibly I've read in one place downloading the 10 day free trial version of) the expansion WotLK... dirty money-grubbing Blizzard... such is business =P

I am currently at 87/90 still in search for the last 3 quests to complete this but i found 2 quests at the Ruins of Auberdine, near the old flight path there is a woman that gives you 2 quests the first is "Coaxing the spirits" and then when you have done that one she gives you another called "Call down the thunder" hope this helps some of you.

It seems, that these last quests of the chain are just acceptable with all expansions. (Looks like a bug to me and not intended)

I, too, was stuck on 89/90 quests, and then I realized I hadn't gotten the Ghosts in the Dark achievement. So, I went to the whirlpool... fell down, killed the guy and he dropped some documents that gave me the final quest I had to turn in at Lor'danel. This got me the Ghost in the Dark achievement and also the Darkshore Quest achievement. Hope this helps!

Hopefully this will help someone that was in same situation as I was.... I revisited Darkshore with my lvl 85 hunter, I was helping a friend who was on a lower toon. I did about 70 quests before moving on to other areas. I abandoned some quests before moving on to other areas. I came back to the area after a couple of months trying to get my loremaster achievement. I expected to burn through them quickly. I got to 88/90 and was stuck. I came to wowhead looking for help…I went back through all the hidden quests listed here and found that I had completed them all but “One shot, One Kill”. Completing this quest only got me to 89/90.

After searching through forums without any success, I methodically flew to each quest area and began clicking on quest givers, hoping I had missed something that just wasn’t showing up. I finally got back to the grove of ancients and there was a “!” waiting on me. I had been there two times before and know there were no quests available on previous trips through the area.

I found that when I fly at top speed, 310% for my hunter, there is a bit of lag for items to pop up. I believe when I flew over the area before, I went past the quest giver before the lag allowed the quest to be marked on my mini-map. If you find yourself stuck with less than 90 quests, look for the quests mentioned in this forum, and then fly to each quest giver area. After doing all the quests listed here and finishing my missing quests, I ended with 96 quests completed. Good luck and I hope this helps.

After doing all the quests at the Grove of the Ancients and Remtravel's Excavation I too was stuck at 89/90. I had done all of the quests mentioned above and was flying over Grove of the Ancients and discovered that Onu (a giant talking tree) had 1 quest that starts a chain of at least 3, starting with "Naga in our Midst" and leading to "The Darkscale Warlord" and "The Tides Turn Against Us" - it got me over the 90. Ok...something i noticed. I was stuck at about 83/90. I was flying past the "blackwood furbolg" camp at 41.0 , 56.5.. Well as i was flying over there was no "!" on my mini map....bcas the furbolgs were in combat with some nearby fire elementals.....luckily they killed them and once their combat was over the "!" re-appeared on my map before i left the area...Depending on how often they are in combat...this might be an easily missed quest give.... Hope this helps someone!

One of the ones higher level people might miss is the starting breadcrumb quest, Breaking Waves of Change, which takes you to Lor'danel from Darnassus. It counts for this achievement and if you are starting this zone from scratch or haven't quested in Lor'danel, this is the one to go for. If you are lower level there's also a Hero's Call, but it gives less reward and you shouldn't take it in preference.

Apparently Sentinel Aynasha is the savior for those of us with only 88/90. Between the quest in the far southern part of Darkshore "One Shot. One Kill" (thought this one wouldn't work since it's turned in in Ashenvale but it does yay!) and in the far northern part where you kill Rit'ko in the Shatterspear War Camp, he will drop a key, open Aynasha's cage and escort the her out. Without these two I would have been stuck at 88/90 and I'd be sad lol. Thanks Sentinel Aynasha for being in two places at once some how and being able to make it that I could complete this achievement lol

One tip for those quest hunters out there - as of the writing of this post, one of the biggest add-on assets to have is Quest History Felstone. It logs all the quests in the game as a sortable list, and will query the server to check which quests you have or have not completed. If you are stuck in a zone and are unable to find any more quests, simply bring up the add-on and select "New Quests", and sort by category (zone) - this will tell you which of those last lingering quests you have been unable to track down. It even provides quest IDs so that you can look up on those quests on Wowhead.

This add-on has gotten me out of a bind many a time when I have been stuck on a zone quest achievement, so I thought I'd pass that on to all of you. I am aware that the well known add-on QuestHelper has an incomplete quest feature as well, but I find that Quest History is a lot lighter on system resources than QuestHelper!

I was doing this achievement, and I noticed "A Taste for Grouper" and when looking it up, apparently it only shows up if you have the fishing skill, but it only requires lvl 1 fishing (baubles help though). For those at 89/90, u might see if you missed this one. He is a Worgen standing by the water near the flight master.
