If the idle animation for this mount isnt it spitting on random players within 10 yards... then Blizzard has failed on this mount. >_<

If I ever get any of these mounts in-game, I'll never get any other mount in-game ever again.

Screw flying mounts, camels are epic enough to run there.

The Tan and Brown Camels are obtained simply by purchasing them after obtaining Exalted with the Ramkahen faction.

The Grey Camel is a different matter altogether:

"Scattered around Uldum are small click-able camel statues called "Mysterious Camel Figurine". If you click on one you will get teleported to the Steam Pools, which, if you havent gone exploring yet, are located on a plateau in the south eastern part of Feralas. Once you swim out of the water you will see lots of docile, but kill-able (wont fight back) camels that don't drop anything. You will also see Dormus.

You will get a debuff that is called "Dormus rage" which says bad things will happen in 20 mins if you don't kill Dormus.

Hes got about 250khp and was super super easy to kill as a heroic geared 85 MM hunter. I kept heals rolling on my pet but i never saw my pets hp move. Just move out of the things he spits at you."

Dormus has a chance to drop the Reins of the Grey Riding Camel, but as of this post the drop rate is unclear.

Once your exalted with the faction the mount will be there. Until you are exalted you will not seen the mounts (as of 9 Dec 2010)

got my camels today but the feat of strength doesn't show in my list. anyone else have theirs missing? shows in recent achievements but not when i click on the feat of strength section

Interestingly, this achievement awards 0 (yes zero) achievement points. So far there is no indication from Blizzard that this is a bug.
edit: As of 4.0.6 this now rewards 10 achivement points like most of the other general achivements

I can understand the confusion. Just to clarify. Feats of Strength achievements are under Feats of Strength in the achievements panel. General achievements are under the General panel. I hope this helps.

just wondering, but are there any camels with two humps? If not, maybe a future patch will introduce a two person, two-humped camel mount. /hope

I noticed there wasn't anyone that posted how/where. Just go to Ramkahen, and find the Quartermaster at 54:33.

Note: You are unable to buy it 80g unless you have a Rep that is Exalted for Ramkahen.

Just as I was looting the mount I died. Unfortunately, when I returned to my corpse to rez, the drop was gone. Have to start all over again.

What is the best way to get Exalted here? I have been looking for and believe I have done all the quests, yet I am not there yet, thank you.
