It hasn't even hit live yet, and I'm dreadfully afraid of this achievement. Lets face it, it'll be over trade for the next month after it comes out, then revisiting every few days.

While sure, it's a momentarily funny concept, the amount of spam the average player will receive from it is horrible

I wonder if you have to have 9000 when the achievement comes out or if you can get over 9000 later... I'm at almost 8700 achievement points and 9k will be easy with all the new ones coming out, but will be a bit rough to hit before 3.3.

I have always been an achievement $%^&* on pretty much every game with achievements. I try to get every achievement I can on WoW and learn each of them so I know when they're coming. When the patch notes came out and I saw this on it, I said "That is what I am going for." From then on my 2 goals were lvl 80 and this feat. of strength.

I just got this on my warrior :) I can confirm that past achievements no longer count. That is to say, if you got achievements that used to exist that are now feats of strength you no longer get credit for them. You now have to get 9005 or greater.

Question: the tooltip reads "Earn more than 9000 achievement points", so does one have to actually earn 9005 or more points to unlock the achievement? Or will 9000 do the trick?

got this achievement yesterday on my pala and i can confirm that i didnt get it until i aquired 9010 points. dont know whether it works on 9005 or not it just happend to be that i earnt 10 points from 9000.

This achievement is still active; and I can confirm you need 9005 points to be awarded. However as mentioned above it is now a Feat of Strength and no longer counts towards your achievement points.

I just hit 9010 achievement points today. May 6th 2011. I did NOT recieve this feat of strength.
Edit* Went back today May 7th and got a GM on the line that told me it was an interface error on my end showing me at 9010 achievement points. Checked guild roster sorted by ach points (hadnt thought to last time lol) it showed me at 9k still.Went and did some random achievement and did in fact get "It's Over 9000!" As posted below my achievement log interface also shows 9020 now..but again it's prolly an interface error from an addon or something lol

You'll need 9020 achievement points as of 4.01 for this to register. I know.. absurd.. what good is the test realm for if they let this kinda stuff slip through. So if you get to 9010 and start to get worried.. grab one more and you'll be good. Hopefully they fix this.

Just got achievement at 9015 achievement points. It seems to award at the next achievement earned after you've passed 9005. Though it would have been much nicer to have it award at the same time as the other two achievements that actually pushed me over 9000. Oh well...

Ahievement interface is indeed currently bugged, it can display 10 more achievement points than you really have. This can lead to getting this feat 1 achievement later than expected.
You should check your armory page or guild achievement statistic to see for sure.

Apparently the Achievement frame is bugged. Check your guild's leaderboard for your actual count.

Sadly, this achievement is losing its awesomeness the further we go into the game... I would love to see an updated achievement for this... keep this one because of duh... Its over nine thousand, but its time to get a new achievement with people reaching over 14,000 in the game...These people need to be recognized cause not only are you doing Heroic Raids and getting massive raid/dungeon achievements, and not only are you a beast in pvp... getting all the roles in all the battlegrounds... you are also incredibly bored, getting all the achievements from loving all the critters to jumping on trampolines. xD

Oh... and theres the whole doing 90% of the quests in the game.

Oh and speaking of which, they need a 4000 quest achievement. xD

I just got exactly 9,000 achievement points. You DON'T get the F.o.S. if you get exactly 9,000. That makes sense though because the achievement says to get over 9,000. Time to get 1 more achievement! /facepalm
