In case people are wondering. I tested, and you do not get the achievement by buying these clothes from the vendor. They have to come from eggs.

just a note the egg that you have to place in SW or the horde city can be picked back up by you. i did it and the egg contained the black tux pants. dont know if the drop rate is different but it only gave me the black pants no chocolates

also note that no one on my server (earthen ring) has listed an shirts on AH must me the real rare item for this event

Still trying to get the shirt. Got all the other items, including pants - multiple of most - and both chocolate eating achievements done.
Probably opened ~300 eggs (most at goldshire, some at Azure Watch, not that i believe it makes a difference). Still no shirt.

I've gotten 1 shirt out of about 220 eggs. Why you can't earn this achievement simply by buying the items is beyond me. Or at least make it so you can't get multiples of the same item.

got 2 pants, 1 shirt, 1 dress, 4 branches 2 spring circlet, 1 spring flowers but no pet! got 400 eggs! good thing i can buy the pet lol or else i'd be @#$%sseeed

i don't get why they sell the shirt, pants and dress at the vendor if it doesn't count anyway lol. good thing i was only missing the pet

If this can help you, I've been farming the eggs in Brill and so far (about 250-300 eggs, lost count) I've found 3 pants and no jackets.

Finally got one camping the horses outside the inn.

Those tuxedo droprates are the worst.

Got 7 branches, 3 pets, 3 elegant dresses, 2 spring robes and 2 bunny-ear helmets.
Only got 1 pants, and took me like 300 more eggs after completing the egg-eating achivements to get the shirt.

I did this.. as long as your focused your Egg/hour should be pretty decent.. at around 100-200 depending on competition
and I got the Achievement in around 30-45mins:)
don't worry, it might take some time, but its worth the 10 achievement points isnt it:D?

i farmed those eggs for about 2h today (4th april) and i got many other items like the pet bunny (was lucky and got it from 3rd egg :D ), 3 elegeant dress, flowers, the robe and 5 of tux pants but not the shirt...wuz still pretty amased for that pants dropped 5 times. happy farming :D

Didn't have any of the clothes dropping while doing the rest of the achievements so I went to Falconwing Square for egg hunt. First night opened around 500 eggs and only got 2 pants. Next day opened less than 50 eggs and found both the shirt and the dress. Totally RNG.

I needed ~800 eggs to get White Tuxedo Shirt.

Later: On a newly created char, I got both within 10 eggs. LOL!

PS. Forgot to mention, I farmed in Dolanaar..

Farmed around 700 eggs , got 8 Tuxedo pants, 2 Elegant dresses, 6 spring rabbit foot's, 4 blooming branches, 4 spring flowers. ZERO white shirts , i did my farming in rabbit form with the speed buff u get , and with zoom makes u spot eggs easier , i wondered if i had to change area as i did farm in Kharanos , wasnt too crowded and spawn is real fast and most eggs are easy to access. Still farming will return wheni get the white shirt. Good luck guys.

Well i got my white shirt finally had to get another 200 eggs , all farming was done at Kharanos near IF alliance. got 3 more tuxedo pants,4 spring rabbit foot. 3 blooming branch, 1 elegant dress 2 spring flowers.

Something I noticed is that if you have your setting turned down low you can see the eggs before the bushes load onto your screen, makes it easier to see egg spawns from a distance. Yay for playing wow on a toaster? Happy hunting and good luck!

Where to farm? That is the question! Zones are mostly empty on the (Wrath) Classic servers and quite busy at Razor Hill and Goldshire on Retail. Each zone has its advantages and disadvantages for egg farming:

Horde:

Brill: Retail: Great variety of locations, most easy to find. A great place to farm. Wrath: Compact but the shrubbery is very heavily textured, making the eggs rather difficult to see as almost all the eggs are concealed in the bushes.
Razor Hill: Eggs are easy to see but you have a lot of running to do.
Bloodhoof Village: Some very devious / clever hiding of the eggs and a huge area to run around.
Falconwing Square: Compact and although attempts were made to hide the eggs, pnce you get a roll on you will zip through easily. Best for Horde!

Alliance:

Goldshire: Retail: Everyone comes here so respawns happen fast! No optimal route though. Classic: Eggs seem few and far between here.
Kharanos: Easy to see the eggs and your route will be a simple oval. A great location for Alliance, especially Classic!
Dolanaar: Eggs are mostly hidden in dense shrubs and there is a huge running area. Avoid!
Azure Watch: Compact, eggs are well hidden and there is no real optimal route.

Ideally you want a few other players with you as the respawns will come thick and fast and this situation is where Falconwing Square really shines. To see accurate maps (there aren't any here on Wowhead and indeed it is just not possible due to the imprecision of coordinates) I strongly suggest this AddOn by yours truly. It has almost every spawn point in every Classic and Retail zone too! Alliance? Toss-up between Goldshire and Kharanos with Goldshire shading it as its more social/fun.
