Actualy you can do this archievement while doing quest The Ransacked Caravan.

The area around 69,65 in Howling Fjord is perfect. No waiting for respawns, just do a loop. I finished all 15 in less than two minutes. They're "Fjord Turkeys", but still count.

There are a ton of fjord turkeys in the Howling Fjord near the Explorers' League Outpost. Right at the three way fork. There are quite a few and the respawn rate is super quick.

Just finished this quest a few minutes ago but I can't for the life of me understand the people saying they were "zerged" by hostile turkeys after slaying the last one. Sure enough, they become hostile, but I thought I would be attacked by spawning turkeys, a la Zelda, but nup. Nothing.

I did mine at the crossroad at 69, 45 in Howling Fjord, i think there were more than 20 there, so i believe i did it in less than a min.

When I did this achievement I did not get attacked by turkeys. I flew to Valgard and logged out in the inn, and when I logged back in a turkey attacked me for 1 HP and immediately died and disappeared.

I did this achievement and no turkeys came. I read the posts of other people not being zerged by turkeys so I just thought it was normal. I then went to Dalaran and when logged. When I logging in again I got zerged by turkeys in Dalaran :D Truely awesome achievement!

I really wish i had thought to take a screen shot but it was to funny at the time. I had just finished this acheivement and ran to New Agamand to turn in a quest, then i used my hearth to Shatt. There was nothing around me when I hearthed but when i got to the inn in shatt i was in combat with an angry turkey! I ran out just to see how far it would follow but it vanished. Don't know if anyone else has seen this but beware the %^&*ed off turkeys!

After completing this achievement I teleported to Orgrimmar, only to find an angry turkey waiting for me there! It attacked me but was instantly killed by my molten armor.
I wonder if that was a one time thing...or maybe we will now be forever stalked by turkeys? They could be anywhere! Watch out!

It seems to be pretty random, I didn't get anything, my guildy who did it 30 seconds later got 20 enraged turkeys on her. And when we flew back to Dalaran and took a SW portal, a big turkey suddenly spawned and attacked me in SW, weird stuff ^^

I just completed the achievement for this and the turkeys did turn red, but never attacked me once. I even went on to do "The way to his heart " daily with the bulls and cows red also and wasnt attacked them either!
I would like to mention you might want to get the critter bites (x's 10) before you do the "Friend or Fowl" so you can also get the "Critter Gitter" achievement as well.:)

I think that there may be turkeys hanging out in the nether between portals.

I ported from the Horde portals in Dalaran to Orgrimmar and noticed a Turkey noise and I took 1 damage point when I arrived in Org. Sure enough an "Angry Turkey" had hit me while I was porting!

I found a small bug with this achievement, I did it quickly before I accepted my summon to the obsidian sanctum heroic, after I entered the instance a flock of angry turkeys spawned from nowhere, some people where like "where the hell did they come from?"

Those turkeys must have been p!ssed.

3.03 - the swarm of turkeys after killing 15 in 3 min was somewhat random. It could also occur after zoning or logging off and then back on. Sometimes only 1 turkey attacked. It also made you hostile to all beasts until you zoned or logged.

3.08 - the debuff/swarm now applies correctly. The swarm immediately attacks you after killing 15 turkeys in 3 min (even if you've already done the achievement). The debuff is then removed an beasts will no longer be hostile.

Today when i did this achievement, the critters don't turn aggressive after you get the achievement, rather, you are swarmed by a huge wave of angry turkeys from all sides. After that everything is back to normal.

Not sure if this is every1 with Pets but i had to dismiss my pet to get the achievement (Warlock). Tried it a few times and got the mad turkeys at the end but no achievement. Dismissed pet and did again and got it first go.

Just a note, You do not get credit for other group member's kills. I just did this achievement in a group of 2, and the other person didn't get credit.. We both now have gotten credit by taking turns.

There is a in-game stop-watch too, handy to keep track of how much time has elapsed.

If you go to the Explorers league outpost and head west till you get to a three part road there is loads of turkeys there with a mega spawn rate.

Make a new macro with this command:

/target Fjord Turkey
/cast <any of your instant casts>
/cleartarget

and spam this whilst running and youll do it no problem >8-D hope it works

You might as well do both of them together in the same spot. It takes about 3 minutes and is pretty funny at the same time. No use running to two different spots when you can kill two birds (ahem) with one stone.

Just did it on my DK, if you let the Angry Turkeys rape you then after about 10 sec they run away and de-spawn. If you don't attack em you don't become hostile with any Critters :D

This is one of the funniest achievements I've ever done (:

First step: you go slay 15 "Fjord Turkeys" in Howling Fjord, at 69,65 (I made it in 1min 30secs).

Next step: when you have killed 15 "Fjord Turkeys" you will get 15 "Angry Turkeys" to attack you. - They are only level 6.

I agree, thats where I went too. Worked like a charm. Made it with at least a minute and a half left to spend with following macro:

/tar Fjord Turkey
/cast Ice Lance

Note: Ice Lance may be replaced by any spell of your choice. As a bow-user or a gun-user you may replace with /shoot or /throw. Also, this obviously only works for casters or people with ranged weapons.

The three way fork as posted above is definitely the best place for this achievement. After getting it a heap of Angry Turkeys spawned but were taken care of with a Death and Decay. No other animals turned hostile that I noticed, just the angry little turkeys.

I love how the turkey corpses look 'roasted'.... :D

Just completed this, As a Hunter after killing all and getting the 10 angry turkeys attacking ya if ya wanting to avoid feign Death worked and they all returned to normal.

Hay guys, I have just completed this achievement, I couldent believe how easy it was. All I had to do was spam /target Fjord Turkey and keep casting Moonfire and when I ran out of mana I used Innervate but also had a Runic Mana Potion just in case which I dident need to use. It only took me about 30 seconds.

Just begin slaying every turkey you can find. When you have the achievement, all surrounding turkeys will attack you, but one AoE blow and they're dead.
Best to do around (69,64) in Howling Fjord.

This is what I did as a Hunter:

Went to Howling Fjord (69,64) and used this macro:

/tar Fjord Turkey
/cast Hunter's Mark
/cast Auto Shot

This targets the closest turkey, puts a mark on it and shoots at it. In less than 2 minutes, pam! Achievement achieved.

I recommend that you don't track anything to see the mark clearly on the minimap.

One of the easier achievements from the General section,
What I did to check that I was actually within the three minute range was just opening the WoW stopwatch to time,
Bound Icy Touch (DK) to middle mouse button using Bartender and just kept on clicking and watched the achievement pop up.

And the dealing with the after-spawn was also easy, just put up a ground disease and I could just sit and stare with a grin on my face.

Of course you never got attacked by Chickens cause Turkeys are in a completely different timezone. You get attacked by Turkeys cause you just kicked the Crap outta the family and now they're coming after you. :)

All i did( to make things simple for most of you) was /Fjord Turkey (as a macro) and run around (69,64) just south of Nifflevar, you can't miss it. Never timed it cause 3min is way to long. They need to bring it down to about 1minute. I started south and worked my way up to Nifflevar.

Keep an eye out for my post's. It seems a lot of wow head is not updated due to lack of ppl posting. My opinion.

Automatically puts a skull above the turkey for easy finding. ;]

Very easy achievement, just go to where all these posts have been telling you and run around killing turkeys, remount for respawns, and then prepare to laugh as the ANGRY TURKEY ARMY attacks you in revenge. It's worth doing this one just for the angry turkey attacks.

Don't do what I did, and run around killing Turkeys at Valgarde Port. Those aren't the ones! They have to be the Fjord Turkeys at 69, 64. On the map, for those without coords, it's the V fork in the road directly west of the Explorers' League Outpost. Respawn rate for the turkeys is almost instant. Make sure you use the macro: /tar Fjord Turkey. I got them all in less than a minute. Then, just bombed the angry ones. POOF! Turkey dinner...already cooked :D

For info, the tracker wouldn't work for me. No number, no timer.
At first I thought it meant the Fjord Turkeys were not good for the achiev, but I kept killing some and I got it.
So don't worry if you don't see a timer!

lmao, now why can't all ach's be that much fun. Just finished, no /tar just ran around and killed turkeys had no prob getting it done well within the time. A macro would make it much easier. Once finished the turkeys mobbed me and I had the debuff. Used bladestorm and mowed them all down, debuff gone. Seeing all that turkey on the ground made me hungry. C'mon T-day.

I spent a little time scouting them so I could recognize them and knew where they were concentrated (and killed some of the nearby aggressive mobs).

As a warlock, I used Corruption as the attack in the macro. Sure it's a DoT, but it worked great. If your class has a DoT that can finish off these critters before the timer counts down, then just keep running and spam the macro. Easy-peasy and FUN!

For my hunter, I ditched the macro. I would just right click on them and automatically run up to maximum range and gun 'em down. Took a little longer than dotting, but not much.

If your pet does all the damage to a mob, you can't get reputation, loot and achievement count for it. This is for all the mobs in WoW. You need to hit target yourself. Doesn't need to be a killing blow, just damage one time and it will count. For hunters or pet users, keep your pet on passive and retry if you failed a lot.

Granted I was Alliance and had flight form so it made it easier. you could replace "Moonfire" with any instant cast ranged attack/spell u want. or if you're after the Fjord ones just add "Fjord Turkey" instead of "Turkey". macros 101 srsly
