nope u cant, there was a message on the login screen last night about rolling restarts at 5, tht was to reset all the quests, they've done it for everyone. even if u've done it on the 1st day. but from now on thatll be the only time u can do it, unless they do another reset of somesort to sort out any problems tht might still be there.

Honor the Flame @ 18.7 56.0. (Dragon's Mouth)

So if you are looking for Extra marks while extinguishing the one in New Kargath, go take a look :)

A tip to find the changed places are to get the quest "Incense for the Summer Schorlings" (Don't know if it's different for Horde) which Alliance can find in Stormwind at least.

I have not yet found an alliance bonfire in Hillsbrad. I know that there is not one required in this zone for the achievement, but there was one here last year. Does anyone know if it was moved, or simply removed? New coords for horde bonfire at Tarren Mill are 54.47, 49.80.

There are flames in the Cata districts too, I've found them in Mt Hyjal, Vajshir, Deepholm anyway. Haven't found any in TH, haven't looked in the other places. They're not needed for achievment either, but they give guild xp and flowers :)

Not sure if anyone else is having this problem but in burning steppes I completed a bunch of quests with the thorium brotherhood some of which phased me I now seem to be stuck in this phase and cannot honor or desecrate any bonfires. I saw the horde one and when I went up to it it disappeared, so if you can't find them in this area then this is probably what's wrong.

Final Update: I have now updated everything that needed it, wasn't a lot so a great job by figaw.
I have now completed both achievements and the extra fires that are listed here as a level 82 player. I was eaning 18,322 XP and 4G 10S per own faction Fire, then double that for opposite faction fires. I have 5% XP incrase from guild and no other increases. I gained a total of 824,547 XP and 184G 50S. I also gained 225x just by doing the Eastern Kingdoms Achievments. Hope this helps anyone out that needs it!

At first glance this looks like an incredibly boring grind. It actually is. But it's best to hit two birds with one stone. Maybe you can explore the zones as you fly. Or maybe you can grind your archaeology up. It's mandatory you extinguish the bonfires of the other faction while you do this.

First off, there are a ton of great post on this page and anyone can improve on anyone elses great efforts. I have 11 85's and several others I run my route below with (Horde see my post on your page since I several of them as well ;). This is the absolute fastest way to run this as an alliance lvl 85 with Artisan flight training and your Flight Master's License. Things that look faster another way, have been tested many times. This is fastest (even if you're a mage). If you don't have artisan training, this is still the best route, although you'll have to decide when you want to take a gryphon. For those walking, or on land only mounts; Most of the data is still the same, but do check per area which is better for you since all my toons are flyers (there is a good post here for people that are walking as well. Just be warned he missed the horde badlands coords posted below).

1st thing you'll want, is the addon "Tomtom". Others have mentioned it but no one takes a minute to explain how it works (if you know, then skip to the list). Download and install it. To install an addon such as this; download it and unzip it. Inside the tomtom folder you will have another folder named "Tomtom". Cut or copy it to you "C:\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns" folder. If you're wow is up and running, exit and restart it. Tomtom will already be enable when you restart, just not visibly so.

The way it works is that you enter a line in your "say" field, hit enter and an arrow appears showing you which direction to fly, distance in yards, and time it will take based on the speed you're flying. Some people create macro's for this, but you can also just enter them one line at a time (I have enough macro's so do on line at a time). For those that use macro's, the spaces between lines is due to the 255 character limit a macro has, so you will need to create several macros and also use your map a lot to enable which point to fly to (another reason I prefer one line at a time).

Here are some numbers to look at of why one might want to farm these quests, even after they get their pets Keep in mind that the pet is BOE, and I make tons of coin on these.

Entire route from A-Z = 49 minutes without taking any flight paths with 280% flight speed (no masters yet), and guild lvl 5 perk (but 20% Faster for you lucky paladins :).
*Realistically, if you have your flight license to fly here, and your artisan credentials, then other than 2 places it's faster to fly direct. Once you minus all the zig zagging a gryphon will do and mounting up again, regaining altitude, etc, etc.

This list will provide all of Alliance & Horde points. I added which they are for, so lower levels can feel free to exclude the mentions of (Horde). All associated achievement locations are included, but this isn't just for that, the amount of Guild XP and Gold (at 85) is awesome and GM's should encourage their guildies to do this (if not already).

*Since you're most likely going to fly from SW to the start point in SV, save tons of time and 1st get Goldshire out of the way since it's the worst speed-bump in this entire route.

Start out flying to Booty Bay.

Total= 230 Burning Blossoms, 363G, 82S, 96C. 373,025 Guild XP (Not Rep).

At lvl 83 and Not exalted with guild:
Honoring a flame = 23,047XP, 13 Guild Rep (25\26 if you're wearing the exalted BOA tabard), 5488 Guild XP, 4 Gold, 30 Silver.
Extinguishing Horde flame = 46,094 XP, 23 Guild Rep (51 if you're wearing the exalted BOA tabard), 10,975 Guild XP, 8 Gold, 60 Silver.

Total= 230 Burning Blossoms, 180G, 20S, 1,014,068 XP, 241,458 Guild XP (Not Rep), 530 Guild Rep without exalted any guild tabard (1,114 Guild Rep "With" exalted BOA tabard).

For 2012 some of the locations have moved slightly. I did this today on my Alliance Hunter. The waypoint groups are from south to north, using TomTom. The waypoint is to the Alliance quest giver and Horde Bon Fire.

Note: getting into Iron Forge for horde and Silvermoon City for Alliance, sucks. Expect to die at least once.

For Horde: You would need to remove the Horde cities and put in the Alliance cities instead.

The guide assumes you are bound in Dalaran or Stormwind for the Hearthstone comments, and that you have the Uldum portal available. If you don't have that portal, I would advise getting a port to Dalaran and using the portal to Caverns of Time from the Violet Citadel.

You may be able to do some or all of the Flame Wardens / Extinguishing Fires again this year even if you have completed the achievement in a previous year. I had completed Flame Wardens of Eastern Kingdoms on one alt and was Extinguishing Flames when I noticed one of the Flame Wardens was available. Turns out they were all available for XP, cash, Guild Rep and blossoms even though I already had the achievement from last year (or maybe the year before?). Worth doing, as long as you follow the concept of doing something else (Archaeology, Exploration, Collecting Profession, Writing the Great American Novel) at the same time.
