They can be found on the small islands in the lava and on top of the ledges you can jump on with the thermal updrafts.

This quest is for the Druids, a daily and the flowers are found in the cave after you fall down a deep hole. Down where the Flamewalker Sentinels are. You will see the flowers, which appear on your cursor as herbs, on the little islands and such in the lava on the outskirts of the cave zone.

For quest turn-in, Choluna <Druid of the Talon> is ABOVE ground, don't look for her in the caves/below.

Its a shame Malleo isn't here, he could turn all the flamewalkers into fire flowers and I can turn both quests in at the same time.

so how do you get out? i can't figure out this vent thing, seriously starting to piss me off

I've found that if you're having trouble getting out onto a faraway rock, jumping backwards can sometimes give you just the right range. Also, it is probably worth it to go all the way into the cave (where you found Anren for ), since it seems the fire flowers are closer to the solid ground there.
