For anyone intimidated by the number of scales you need to collect, don't worry. They have a 100% drop chance, and seem to come in groups of 10-25, meaning it'll only take you about 5 kills to get this daily done. Add in the fact that the mobs you need hang out in groups of 3s, and it's a cakewalk

The scales say they are quite sharp... but the quest giver says he isnt going to cut him again and needs your help.

"Flamewaker scales will aid with the swelling, but you need a lot of them."

does that mean the scales help cut him easier... or stop the swelling through other means?

Hey, so I too was wondering about how the Flamewalker Scales would "aid with the swelling" even though the healer does not want to cut Hamuul. Well there are two things we know about the scales:

-They are very sharp

-Flamewalkers naturally generate large amounts of heat. If their body is not generating this heat, they use magic to maintain it. Perhaps their scales are also very hot.

The heat of the scales, combined with extreme thinness, which scales have, may be enough to create small incisions that drain more painlessly--or at least in a less painful way than incisions.

The scales drops for everyone in the group. So feel free to party people around to complete it faster.
