Simple quest. Kill any 10 invaders of Hyjal and use the fang on their corpse.

At this time as of PTR 4.2.14107 you can use on the corpses of invaders killed by random NPCs.

To my relief, you don't have to target the corpse to use the Fang, it automatically selects a valid corpse nearby.

This is a good quest to do alongside your Rage Against the Flames daily (requires 6 to 9 kills of any mob in the Firelands). Simply kill the mobs you see and use the quest-given item ("Fang of the Wolf") on the corpse.

So let me get this right. We kill an enemy mob. Then we use this item which turns us into a ghost wolf and makes us teabag the dead mob.

I like this quest.

A shaman who uses the fang while already in ghost wolf will trigger a dual howl sound effect.

I don't know if anyone gets this but it seems every time I use the fang to howl, I kept expecting a moon to pop out nearby for the ghost wolf to howl at.

It's too bad that moonfire graphic don't last long enough to get the actual howl-at-the-moon effect.

You can /dance while howling if you really want to humiliate that NPC you just killed.

When I first took this quest, I was worried that I'd have to keep track of how many mobs I had killed so that I could howl over all ten corpses at once, but then, quickly learned that it is best done by just using the fang as soon as the mob was dead. Wash and repeat nine more times and you're done.

If you're lazy like me find a group of patrolling Hyjal protectors like the one's with and pull a bunch of mobs on top of them to kill... you don't have to get the kill to be able to use the corpse to howl.

Description

[The wolf ancient, Lo'gosh - or, if you prefer, Goldrinn - has many weapons available to him, but always the most underestimated is his howl. Today, we will use this weapon to summon and defeat Lylagar, one of the lieutenants of flame that lurk within the Firelands.

Defeat any of the creatures of flame within the Regrowth, and then use the Fang of the Wolf while standing atop their corpse. Soon, your howl will echo across all of Kalimdor.]
