Je le conseille aux débutants (ou aux pacifistes). Si vous voulez l'essayer, faites une Draenei chasseresse, c'est leur familier de base. Ils sont franchement sympathiques, mais en mascotte. Ce ne sont pas des combattants super motivants, et le bruit incessant des ailes peut énerver rapidement.

Been hoping for Moth pets since I picked up my little White Moth when BC first came out. So cool looking.

Admittedly though, for straight up PvE DPS, Raptors are probably superior. Moths will still be an excellent choice though, especially on an AoE heavy fight where your pet needs extra healing.

Here is a good guide if you want to get a moth as a low level horde... Lots of dying involved.. took me about an hour and a half from the barrens. Still, considering its ability and +dmg modifier i think its a pretty good leveling pet.

Be careful taming the bloodspore moths, in BT. They have a kick back. I just used a frost trap and was able to tame it no problem. After failing the first three times and almost dieing.

Royal Blue Flutter in Bloodmyst Isle is now tamable, I will put a screenshot when I tame it.

They are are a rlly pretty blue and sorta pinkish purple color.

Hunters who bring moths to raid should get a +damage bonus for being ballsy enough to bring a moth.

Hey, just to let you know, I am currently a BM hunter at level 69 now, and I dont know about you guys, but my cunning pets do way more dps than ferocity pets now due to the Wolverine Bite cunning pets can now get. In randoms with some buffs, (like kings on me and might on my pet) on a boss i can pull around 1400 dps, and normally around 52-59% of my dps is my pet. I tested out a couple of cunning pets, and the ones that seem to the most damage is the Nether Ray, and its strange because its CD on its ability is 28 seconds. Strangely enough my Sporebat is one of my highest DPS pets, then followed by the Chimaera and then my raptor (which is my backup pet if the boss does alot of damage to pets.)

So I guess since the change on Wolverine Bite, I see cunning pets the #1 on dps again, but ferocity not much behind.

Since there are no low-level moths near horde areas, this would be a big talk in chat for low-level horde hunters to have the guts to brave through the alliance areas and grab a moth from Azuremyst or Bloodmyst Isle.

For a BM hunter this is a must have pet for pvp - this is the only way I have a chance against mages. This is the only ferocity pet with a spell interrupt - the only other is held by the gorilla (tenacity) - 2 sec interrupt on a 30 sec cd (or about 20 secs as BM). The cooldown is reduced to around 42 secs for us, so with the gorilla or the moth, it's likely to be a once per fight ability making the 4 sec interrupt superior - and of course the fact that as a ferocity pet, this moth can destroy a mage who can't cast. To be effective however, you must take it off auto-cast as the moth will just use it the second it targets something with a mana bar. There are a couple of pets who slow casting speed by 25% and can even do so constantly, but given that most casters now have at least a few instant casts, and in fact 25% doesn't seem to be a deal breaker at any rate (since mages can often just about 2 shot other 80's now - if the mage can cast you will probably die) a total silence has proven vastly superior in my experience.

I'm full beast mastery and I still use the moth most of the time.

Although, sadly, they ruined Serenity Dust. It no longer heals and gives an attack boost. Now it interrupts and prevents casting with a 42 sec cooldown.

Still, my pretty little butterfly is kicking arse, so I can't complain.

Just a note that the Moth's Serenity Dust power was changed from a self-heal and damage buff to an interrupt.

It also no longer has a knockdown component to its charge attack, which also would interrupt spellcasting.

Hey, wait a min...If moths are from wrath, didn't they come AFTER draenei came out? Or did draenei start out as hunter then?
